A formidable species that constantly feuds with the Hollowhearts, Battlehearts are a highly aggressive draconian species that live in large, loose clans. They hold immense territories and will ruthlessly drive out neighboring clans as these areas expand; fights often involve the destruction of enemy offspring, the stealing of food, or outright slaughter. They are carnivorous and have even been known to prey upon humans, as they are able to take human shape and lure unsuspecting men to their doom
