Information

Larvies may look reptilian but they are in fact classified as insects, living on large-leafed foliage the same of which it consumes. They possess a small plant whose seed spores find their way to their tails and latch on for the rest of their lives. These plants are marked by their star buds and live symbiotically with the Larvie and its elder Florana stage, feeding off of excess plant matter the animal consumes and in turn causing the Larvie or Florana's blood to taste bitter to all predators.
