Common Insonia

Osteolaemus bicipitis

< Back to Reptiles

Information

The dual headed Insonia possesses two separate minds and personalities, but one is always more dominant (and can be determined by the longer segment of their split tail tip). Eye-like patterns on their eye lids make the animal appear to be awake when sleeping, lending to its name. Special frills on their head and back can glow brightly to stun predators and attract mates; otherwise this swamp-dwelling reptile can hide easily on the banks thanks to its muddy coloration.
