Kitrells are carnivores that live and hunt mainly in heavily forested areas. They are keen and agile hunters that use the cover of the forest to their advantage to hunt Piyo and Leplora. Their long tail helps them maneuver the tight spaces between trees as they fly at speeds of up to 38 mph (61 km/h) while pursuing prey.
