Information

The Lilisyte, although seemingly avian in appearance, is a parasitic flowering plant species. They latch on to a host and use a beak-like thorn to absorb nutrients as they are unable to photosynthesize and collect water on their own. Most herbivores will overlook them, mistaking their long leaves for a bird’s feathers. A Lilisyte will usually remain attached to a single host, though strong winds can carry them away, forcing them to find another host.
