Information

Never one to venture onto land, Merhams will spend their lives between the ocean floor and the kelp beds where they find their favorite food source of sea oats. Hiding among dense rocks and sea growth makes them difficult prey, but their sluggish nature makes them vulnerable. They have evolved large cheek pouches to store food to keep in hidden stashes on the sea floor.
