Information

The Sahound is a canid that prefers to live in packs, usually headed by a matriarch, or the eldest female. Packs usually range from 5 to 10 adults; this allows them to strategically hunt faster prey like the Zipala. They are highly sociable animals and can imitate sounds they hear through their large, radar-like ears. Specialized vocal structures allow for the Sahound to emulate and amplify sounds to destructive levels when threatened. Fur patterns are unique to each individual.
