There are many mysteries surrounding the Scribblen and scientists still debate on the origins of this odd spirit. They are a difficult species to research, as they are mostly nonsensical and unlike other known creatures in that they defy logic. The most common assumption is that they are the result of a supernatural occurrence. Their haphazard appearance consists only of jumbles of lines akin to an artists’s scribble, hence their name. They leave behind emoticons scribbled in their wake.
