Information

Shartiles live in small packs and usually hunt medium sized mammals like Chombones. After a kill, they will bicker over who keeps the skull; Shartile dens have been seen to display more than 20 skulls at a time and are a symbol of dominance. Each Shartile chooses a skull, often decorating it with claw marks, mud, or other such adornments. They also use these hollow devices as a means of communication, tapping on them with their larger dew claws in a fashion similar to Morse Code.
