A close relative of the Hollowheart species, Sleepyhearts are aptly named for their tendency to sleep for up to 18 hours a day. They have very slow metabolisms and only need to eat every three days or so, displaying quick bursts of energy only when hunting small mammals. They prefer to seek warm patches of rock on which to bask during the day as they are cold blooded. When threatened, they will screech to startle their attackers and fly away to find a much safer place to rest.
