Native to the arid sand dunes of Wilt'no, the Suncheeka can soar for miles without rest, using heated air currents to drift in the sky. The hard, carapace-like skin covering its back keeps them from overheating, providing an easy method of cooling, since its perspiration evaporates much quicker from their shells. They live in small burrows and can be found commonly near ruins of forgotten civilizations. Many desert cultures believe a visit from a Suncheeka means a blessing of good luck.
