Taosigs live in sounder groups consisting of females and young 'siglets'. Outside of breeding, males lead solitary lives. Mother Taosigs are very territorial and are easily provoked to violence to defend their young, using tusks and hooves that can easily gore and tear through flesh. Even a Paragon’s hide can be puncture by a Taosig's tusk. Domesticated Taosig have had such temperaments bred out. They are considered a regular food source for people and other predatory animals.
