I'm pretty sure I've settled on the two pets have to be from different users, since that option was added to allow people to tag-team if they want. I was going to have a chat with the other mods to decide for sure though, so I'll get back to you on this soon. =) For now, assume it has to be two different users.

Okie-dokie :) I figured it would be two different players, since that seems more fair than one person just teaming up their pets in all the bounty battles to get the prizes.

Just a small detail we want to confirm with you.

Considering the rules make it very clear that you need a minimum of ten (10) sentences in order for your war posts to count, and considering we put up that helpful guide as to how we will calculate your sentences, the staff would like to make the following clear:

If your posts was previously hosted and a note states that your post did not meet the requirements, you cannot edit your post and asks for your points. We've made it clear that you need to write a minimum of 10 sentences, so we expect you to count them to make double-sure that you're within that range.

Even if you PM us and tell us that you edited the post, we still won't give you the points.

Admittedly, there are very few posts that don't meet this requirement, but we thought it might be something worth mentioning.

Overall, please make sure that your war posts have the 10 sentence minimum in order to get your points, or else they will be forfeited!

The Mage's Brewery has started stocking some badges, though we aren't 100% where they got those badges from. Both sides of the war seem to be gearing up for fighting though, as each one has released a wave of pets to provide their supporters. As such you're being given the chance to do some swapping out, so make sure to read the information in the thread! These waves have been released now that the revamp of the accuracy related traits has been finished, and this also means users can pick up battling again!

Since this is my first war, I'm a bit confused as to how each wave of pets works. I read in the thread that you may choose two out of the three. So, if I'm understanding correctly, you may just choose two, regardless of whether or not you've actually been in a battle, reached a certain number of points, etc? They're just...pretty much free? I don't want to go ahead and ask for a couple, and then find out that there were certain "tasks" that had to be met first.

I have a question too. ^^ I see where one pet is aligned with the Purines and one with the Imperials and one that doesn't say. Does this mean both sides get to pick from the same three pets or are there different pets for the Imperials?

Both sides get three completely different pets. That just means Kodai forgot to put that small piece of information in while putting their stats together. I notice she even put "Alliance: Imperial" on one of the Purine ones on accident. xD; But yeah. If you can see them, they're only available to your side of the war.

I have another question. If we want to switch out a pet currently in our barracks for another pet...do we just post in the Barracks Information Center as if we're signing up again? For example, I would post the two pets I'm keeping (again) and then the new one that I'm switching in?

...8| Just confirming if the stats of the Baskerville and the Khimera are real or if there's a typo, haha, because 65 offense/defense for these levels is pretty hardcore, lol, especially since we can only go five levels over the bounty's level. D= I checked the Purine barracks and I don't think anyone has a pet in the level range able to tackle one of the two, given the stats. The pets able to defend against 65 offense/deal damage against 65 defense are basically non-existant except for few with really high levels, but nothing in the level 20 range. Even teaming up doesn't help much if neither pet can do anything, really. 8| Is there a reason why the Taigra is so much more doable?

Each of the pets was based on the idea of them leveling up in a specific region. One of them (I believe the mentioned Baskerville) was leveled in just Tengel, giving a large boost to precision and a decent boost to offense. One of them even had somewhere around 90 precision (I'm assuming the one leveled in Tengel) before I remembered that precision caps at 50. If you look, all of her other stats are much lower since only those two stats got the large boost. Meanwhile the Khimera has really bad precision and speed with Endurance that isn't high either. Each pet was given one area to be good in, rather than making them well rounded like most people probably try to make their pets. The Taigra's main aim was to make sure she always hit, though that plan didn't go quite as expected since I realized after all the leveling that precision maxed at 50 and not 100. That stat was super high for that pet initially.

Also, I actually did nerf the Baskerville after realizing just how badly high I had initially made it. That 65 offense was originally 70, and some of her other stats were a few points higher too. XD So I did nerf her a bit. Your Fellox are lower in level do have some stats that are far higher than hers. You just focused a different stat.

Yeah, I'm aware of that. =) It's just that precision always starts at 50% hit rate anyway, so the Khimera is better than you might think. XD;

I'm not saying you did a bad job of making the pets or anything; far from it. All that I'm saying is that, at least at the moment and from what I've seen from glancing over the available pets in the Purine barracks, there is no pet which could tackle either bounty - they're either too high leveled or, when in the lower levels, too weak. It doesn't matter if the Khimera is slow, no one wins with scratch damage very well and at the low levels, pets don't have enough AP to fire elemental magic for fixed damage all the time.

Just look at the traits - Combat Endurance for more Endurance, Guerilla FIghter AND Metal Plating to push that defense to even more stellar levels, Extended Claws AND Powerful Jaws to heighten the Offense more. It doesn't matter that the Khimera is slow and has low Precision. Even against my Fellox, who has 82 speed (not counting Elusive Foe right now), the hit chance of the Khimera is still 56%. Given that it has also Stone Blood...yeah. This is insane. You did too well, Kyrit, haha. XD

As for the Baskerville...this Offense (boosted more through Traits) combined with that Precision...there is no single pet in the Purine Barracks able to tackle this, I think, unless I have really overlooked a pet in the level range (I checked for levels first and then for stats).

I'd love to tackle more bounties, but there's no way I can take on these guys because when I hit the stats required I'll be up in level 50 or so. XD;

The bounties don't have to be beaten the moment I put them up. If people see that a bounty is too high leveled for their pet, they can go to the training grounds and train their pets. The training grounds give a +2 to every stat rather than just 1-2, so a pet trained there definitely has a chance of beating one of the bounties. And honestly? I don't worry about what stats a trait gives when I make the bounties. I just pick ones that fit the personality or body of the pet and slap them down. I don't tailor them to make sure they're perfect killing machines. Their stats are within what is possible for their level, so someone out there should be able to meet them, especially if they train up a pet in the training grounds. I'm not going to just remove them tomorrow because no one has challenged them. They'll be there. And eh. If no one challenges them, no one challenges them. There will be more bounties in the future. It's not like this is your only chance.

Ah okay then. ^^ I didn't mean to critizise how you do the bounties, really, I just remembered that some time back in the IRC some of you mods seemed a bit sad that so little battling is going on in the war and just wanted to chime in that the stats of the bounties aren't helping with that, haha. But it's cool, maybe the Imperials have some awesome fighters on their side for the Khimera or someone from our side indeed decides to level to take on the Baskerville. =) I have the stats of my pets planned out too perfectly to do that, but others might jump at the chance for the Baskerville and be ready to devote a pet to level for the fight and therefore probably knock it out of every future tourney's stat range for the level.
