The holidays are drawing near and here on Evelon we have a long running tradition of spreading holiday cheer throughout the month of December in many ways. The holiday wish-a-thon was started by our retired admin, Baal, and after her retirement, was passed on to the mods when they wished to continue it. Yet again we bring you the wish-a-thon in hopes of fulfilling many a dream. Remember though! Only active members are visited by any of Santa Baal's helpers. They usually like to see members roleplaying and pick from them for their gifts.
So if you want in, I'd suggest getting out there and doing a bit of roleplaying, if you haven't done so in the past month ;D
So what are these gifts? Well, they can be just about anything. Retired pets, keystones, that special pet you missed last Christmas, a custom, or even items or a breeding room. Naturally there are some customs we are unable to fulfil, but most things are possible. The more active you are (and I don't mean in the posting games, we specifically mean roleplaying) the more likely you may be to catch our eyes. So buckle up Evelon and get those wishlists updated, for hopefully the wish-a-thon will start kicking out gifts probably around very soon!
Holiday season is a time for mini-events and little things, so here's a quick rundown on what to expect this month (and what you should start saving your KS for). I don't actually know dates this year, but this what I'd expect to see:
- As always, the Seasonal Specialities will be around and open soon! It'll feature the most voted theme from that little contest as well!
- Nyx and her rare item store, Nyx Knacks will be reopening it's doors next week as well with some items that can only be bought through her. A reminder that her shop is only open for very short period of time, so having KS beforehand is always a good idea!
- Another reminder that we have the Color Drop: Seraph breeding season in place, where various shades of white, silver and/or gold will show up on offspring.
- The Advent Calendar will be making a come back!
- A special Christmas Raffle
- And last but not least, since it's December, we're also now in the Winter Hunting Season! In addition to the current pets, there's a bunch of new medium difficulty pets that weren't discovered last year! To find these pets, I'd recommend hunting in one of the less populated areas or using the Simple Trap and selecting Seasonal.
As a small note, I expect trading to be reopened over the weekend. I've just got a few things to iron out but it will definitely be back before Christmas!
