I am mainly making this journal to keep notes of stuffs, I doubt i'll ever use it to rant or squee or anything, but you never know! EDIT: (well that didn't last long!)



So I borrowed some KS off Kitsune_Beauty-chan (for Halloweeny stuffs    - she stole my soul in exchange though    ... if you ever come across a jar labled 'Theia-chan's soul' it's mine and i'd appreciate it back    male souls do not make a good replacement! Trust me!), and I want to keep a note of it and how much (if any) I have currently paid back:

Yay! I solved a riddle! I actually have 2 complete riddles, but the other one is really confusing me, I can't see one pet that it matches to... Draiz is probably getting annoyed with the amount of attempts i've made for it, especially as I know that it's highly unlikely that they're right .
So now I really want the last piece of the third riddle, it's good exercise for my brain (not to mention the whole winning a prize thang   ).

Also I can't wait for RE2's finishing post in the haunted houses, really want to see if I found a pet or not, it's probably unlikely because although I was talking to something I didn't even find out what I was talking to yet... but at least I get a slim chance because of the confusion with when it was ending.

I'm really enjoying Evelon, and am glad I decided to join up, i'm on here literally every day at the moment and I don't see that changing much for a good long while

Wohoo! I got the other riddle right at last, Draiz will hopefully be happy to have one less person pestering them with 'riddle solved'. Well that is until I get the final piece to the third riddle - fingers crossed it'll be today - Wow, that riddle seemed really hard, I tried about 12 different answers!

I can't wait to see what Trick or Treat I get today, and the other good news is I have plenty of KS to keep going until it ends on the 8th! Which also means that I should be able to start paying Kitsune-chan off soon, though I will probably wait until the 8th and pay her a nice round number depending on what KS I have.

I've started my first self-rp and I think it's going pretty well, I've got a bit of storyline going with it and it's helping me to flesh out 2 of my characters, in fact I now think I want either 1 or both of my Rexxels to be made into customs, but I really can't afford it right now, so i'll have to add my ideas to my wishlist at some point and hope that the things that I want are possible.

I'm so excited, I can't wait to see what the prizes for the riddles are! I got all 3 right so my zoo pen is going to explode with pets soon, what with the ones I just bought from the SS shop too. I got myself a hunter! And he's gorgeous, I love the shimmery veins of colour on him, but now I have to wait for him to be given to me I also got myself a Candy corn kitrell, they're such pretty little things, the Winter Kitrell is still my favourite though, I really need some KS and for someone to be selling one at some point so I can get one... And finally i'm getting an Invert Myu reaper, I love the whole idea that they will argue with you even if you're right, it sounds like lots of fun!!! I kind of want one of those Drakelph's, but I don't think i'd be able to RP one very well... so i'm trying to sell my left over CP off for a good price (so I can pay back Kitsune-chan and still have some leftover for whatever else I may want to do with it), but if I can't I may just buy another Kitrell, even if I don't RP with it i'm sure I could sell it on, or maybe I could get one of those Blood Skwyrms... Or if I could get hold of 2 more CP then one of those Nebula Evrens would be cool *loves purple*... Man! So much choice! So little CP!!!

I really hope the riddle prizes come out soon! I think i'll explode if they take too long ^-^ oh oh oh! And, I bought myself a random Khimera (seeing as there is a sale on and £4 pounds is just about affordable right now)... Wow! So many pets i'm getting all of a sudden! I really really really can't wait... *POP*... oh dear I think I just exploded from excitement

So happy! I got an event pet from the Haunted House a couple days ago    and my Khimera turned up today! And he/she is soooo amazing, my favourite colour and everything. I haven't decided on a personality yet (or even a gender) but it will have to be evil, I mean it has a dark purple lightning like aura around it's feet, you can't tell me that it even looks slightly good   Anyways here he/she is:

Well worth the money! Now I just need some money to buy my 2 custom lucains and I will be set. If only I had 500 posts so I could participate in the christmas draw, I might win the money I need for one of my customs, but alas I am still 100 away and Silverin has started the draw much earlier than I was expecting/hoping.

So I completely changed my mind about my Khimera overnight, 1 she's not evil, 2 she's a she (had been leaning more towards male) 3 She is now my pet form! I love Tigers and Khimeras remind me strongly of tigers (Also I was born in the Chinese year of the TIger - so that makes it even more perfect), and as she is amazing looking and my absolute favourite colour then she just has to be me, i'd been having real difficulty coming up with what species my pet form should be, but last night when I couldn't get to sleep it just clicked. So I've updated my zoo pen with her/my info, she is just called Theia though, not the full AnimeTheia. But yeah I am super happy with how she came out and how she fits so well as my pet form!! I think Ticky is my new Deity   'Bow to the Ticky Goddess!'

Yay, Christmas on Evelon is fun what with the Seasonal Specialties gifts, Gift Shop gifts (that I wish I could have afforded just one more of   ) and the Secret Santa - Sooo cannot wait to see who my SS is and what they got me - there is just so much going on! It's both frustrating and fun having to wait for each box from the SS shop to get unwrapped I'm really looking forward to seeing what all the rest are and so far am not too bothered that I didn't manage to buy boxes 1 and 2 because I just don't think I could have RPed those pets (although I love how the Icicle Quiksylphs look and could have used them as late presents or something), same goes with box 3 I think Ringed Tricky's are simply adorable buuut I don't think i'll be RPing either of mine sooo I'm gonna hold onto them and maybe trade them for KS or towards another box that I haven't got if they turn out to be something I want and if not I may raid people's wishlists and surprise them...

My only real peeve with the giftboxes is how hard they are to get hold of although admittedly I got 6 of the 10 I most wanted (wouldn't have minded having them all though) and I could have got boxes 14 and 15 if only I had the KS for them - seems the hobo corner didn't work out to well for me *sighs* - oh well, I probably wouldn't be able to RP most of the pets in the end anyways.

So now I need to get ready for Easter, I need to save up KS for the easter eggs; which reminds me I need to go post in Sekudui Farmlands to get my farm pets harvested! Oh and I entered Pyris' Evelon Pageant which should be fun. I doubt i'll win anything - I never win stuff .

A few things to report today, first and foremost is that Kitsune_Beauty-chan got me an Ipinox and it's hatched so I know which one it is now, she's a Waxing Ipinox one of my three favourites YAY!! *Luffs a Kitsune-chan and huggles her to death!* Si now I need to come up with a name for her, I think she'll make a good companion for my Glacial Slynx or something (would have been even better if she'd been a Winter or Waning Ipinox buuut she's still gorgeous and i'm lucky that she turned out to be one of my favourites).

Second Ticky sent me this:     today, it seems I actually won one of the pets she 'raffled' off   I'm not sure what i'm going to do with it yet, but it may get sold, ks is is always useful and I bet you if there had been even 1 more person in the contest I wouldn't have won anything because I swear I never win anything!

Can't recall if there was anything else to mention... So TTFN.

Ugh, I'm annoyed! The one time that I actually stand a chance of getting a Lucain breeding room and.. none are given out!! I'm guessing either because Ticky is having a break or because Lucain trades are on hold to give Toxic a chance to organise the lists (which are both fair enough reasons). It's just utterly typical that this would happen the one and (most likely) only time I stood a good chance of getting a room! As almost all the other times rooms have been given out it has been 12 midnight evelon time which is 5am for me and I just can't stay up til 5am every night simply for the slim chance that breeding rooms might be given out *sigh*. And even if they are given out at a reasonable time for me I can't be on Evelon non stop, I have stuff to do.

Personally I think that some more work needs to go into the breeding rooms release, I know Baal and Ticky and all the rest have worked hard to try and make it fair by having rules such as 'only one room per person of all the rooms (kuhna,paragon and lucain)' but it still feels to me like it could be more... fair (for lack of a better word). It often seems to me like the same people get the rooms over and over again, so a rule like 'if you had a room in the last release you can't have one in the next release/you can't have a room two releases in a row' I think would work although it would probably mean a bit more hassle for the mods as they wouldn't be able to just wait until enough people posted for the rooms.. although thinking about it, they could do it on trust (as there are already a few things that work on trust on this site) and if someone does get a room two releases in a row they would get warned and if they did it repeatedly they would get a strike. Admittedly it's easily got around by arranging for someone else to nab the room; which they then either share with you or simply give to you... but I still think some more rules like that would give some of the people who rarely / never get a room a better chance.

If this is because of Toxic updating lists then I hope people get on with confirming their lucains soon, as nothing seems to be happening at the moment; No lucain rooms, no new gift boxes being revealed, and the 2 RP's i'm in with other people haven't been replied to by the other people for ages...

Oh, and i'm still waiting on my SS gift I wonder how much longer it will be.

I'm already a lot less annoyed than I was earlier, Shrewdy sent me a PM regarding my previous journal entry giving me a bit more information on who does what (so I now know it's nothing to do with Ticky or Toxic that no Lucain rooms were released and simply that no Lucain rooms were released), it's still a shame that I couldn't get a Lucain room, but in truth there have been quite a few rooms about recently with a lot of Lucain and Paragon babies to be made.

Also Cynder sent me a PM about my SS gift. Turns out she is my Secret Santa, and she has told me she got me a Lucain from my wishlist, which has just arrived buuut can't be given to me due to the temporary cease of Lucain trades   heh well, you can't win 'em all, i'm still super psyched to know that I have a new Lucain waiting for me, and Cynder has joined the ranks as one of my new Deities (sp?) so now I have Goddess Ticky - due to her amazing skills with Khimera and Goddess Cynder - due to her buying me an awesome gift!

Well it's been a little while since I last wrote in here. What news do I have?... My 'Cain 'army' is going well, barring needing to get my customs I think I pretty much have everyone I need for that little plot... Oh and a breeding room would be useful too   . Which reminds me, i've entered the breeding room raffle, I doubt i'll win but I do like the idea of it as hopefully some of the people who usually miss out on rooms will get one   . It would be awesome sauce if I did get a room though, then I could do my planned breeding with Shrewdy's Trevor and get to know exactly how the process works (though I think I pretty much get it).

Hmm what else.., oh yeah the Pageant that Pyris is hosting, so far 3 events have been done and we're onto the final one, unfortunately I haven't won any of the events yet but there is this last chance to make Maji shine! Though she's going to uberly suck in a fight RP, it just isn't something she does, she fights mentally not physically so she's pretty pissed off with me right now, what with having Hexle suspended in the air in front of her mid attack  

My birthday is 1 week away,   I'm getting older! I want to freeze time right now and stay as I am, not gonna happen though. At least I get to console myself with the fact that i'm the youngest in my family so both my sisters are quite a bit older than me; in fact one will be reaching the age of 30 just the day after I reach xx . Anyway i'm planning on going out for a meal with my other half and a friend which will hopefully be nice, followed by some drinks and board games at home. I am not sure how well the day is going to go though, restaurants have this annoying habit of not doing their promotions/offers on Valentine's day so I never get to have a really nice meal at a decent price   It really pisses me off, our friend at first didn't want to come out with us because it's Valentine's day and a special lovey dovey couple day, which really upset me as, as far as i'm concerned it's my birthday before it's some made up holiday that the card companies promote. It was like they just really didn't want to spend time with me as the excuses they made were just so lame. But that's in the past now, they've promised to spend my birthday with me and A (my other half). I still get really p'd off every year though, I used to enjoy having my birthday on a 'special day' now that 'special day' just overrides my birthday and makes me feel completely unimportant. Guh.

Okay, so I was planning on writing in here after my birthday, but yah, i've only just got around to it   . So I went out for a meal with Athos and our friend, we had an Indian and as part of the whole Valentines thing the restaurant had an offer on where if you spend enough money you get a free bottle of champagne, so we talked them into letting us have one (as the deal said you had to spend £30 between a couple for it, but there were three of us and we got them to bring it to us with our meal rather than being given it afterwards). The champagne was very nice, i've tried a few different champagnes and I think this is my favourite so far, nice and bubbly with a delicate flavour   I've had more expensive champagnes before like Moet & Chandon which wasn't particularly nice tasting, so yeah basically the meal was fun, and the restaurant wasn't too obviously Valentines decorated or filled with lovey dovey couple either.
After we finished eating we went back to mine and Athos' flat, and played some drinking games; which was a lot of fun despite the foul tasting Sambuca that we drank - if your reading this I recommend you never drink Sambuca (though I doubt there are many on this site who are actually legally old enough to drink yet anyways), even if it's so called flavoured Sambuca (ours was supposed to be mandarin flavoured but tasted like normal disgusting Sambuca (I would put a being ill smiley here but there isn't one, not that I was ill, because I wasn't   ). We watched a film and then our friend left as it was late. That about sums up my birthday. So far for presents i've mostly been given money/vouchers, Athos is going to get me some fairy figurines at some point (as I collect the really pretty ones) but the ones I want are currently out of stock, and i'm still waiting for a card from my Mum.

So I like to keep an eye on whats happening in the Advertise section on here, for obvious reasons as well as seeing what kinds of prices people are paying for stuff so that I have a general idea of what things are worth. It surprises me to see how (in my opinion) extortionate prices some things seem to go for, I can understand customs and randoms being sold for $15-20+ (depending on add-ons) but bred pets and auction pets? Personally if I ever have any bred pets that i've bred myself and am selling i'd never sell them for more than $10 (unless it was really popular and a bidding 'war' took place, because it's the choice of the bidders to spend that much money) or 500 ks (even though $10 dollars only actually buys you 375 ks -it's not real money so I would ask more). And if they had tight restrictions like only one breeding and no breedings for pups I wouldn't bid/ask for more than 250 (unless it was a custom). Not that I personally have had any particularly bad deals so far, my last bred lucain I bought with tight breeding restrictions of only 1 breeding cost me 200ks so I am very happy with her   Anyway, just some of my thoughts on the prices of pets

What a busy day it is for my Journal! Just making a short entry to say 'Yay! I one the fourth category of the Pageant that Pyris is running! I'm so happy, I won 50ks and I get a shot at winning one of the 3 main prizes *dances*

Theia is a very happy bunny today, yes she is XD. I received my newest Lucain Gypsy Eki from Shieba, she is a gorgeous purple custom that I don't think I could have designed better myself   and Draiz is sharing her Lucain room with me!! It's my first breeding of any kind and Gypsy and Eyon will make some absolutely gorgeous babbies! Happy happy happy *bounces*
