Yep. I'm all for it. As Mousenheath said, it would be easy to find people gifts. And look, I'm not the most sociable person in real life. However, I'm quite the opposite online, and I enjoy random gift-giving. Most importantly, I will indulge in the generous activity whenever the opportunity presents itself. So I say we go forward with this.

I'm down with what you're saying too, Shrewdie. oDo I like the idea of a separate currency for the shop--perhaps random KS sinks where we pay however much KS for the currency when the shop isn't open, and say the shop opens at random times during the year and you either save your GS currency, or spend it then on something  for the person you're saving up for? 8D?

Yeah, if this goes to a vote, I think that this would be awesome to have.

And Ray, it's alright if you don't have people to gift. ^^ I'm sure that, if this Gift Shop comes out, so will a Random Acts of Kindness event that will act like the Secret Santa except it's in effect specifically and ONLY for the opening of the Gift Shop. So that if people don't have someone to spend their GS currency on, you just sign up for the Random Acts of Kindness event, and at one point you'll be sent a name on the first day of one of the random Gift Shop openings so that you know who to send it to.

It'd be cool if I could make the Secret Santa an official part of the shop--sort of an "official unofficial" thing like it was when Toxic ran the ownership lists. She became the authority for them, despite never officially being staff. I don't know if they'd let me, though, or if it would weird people out too much. XD

Just thought I would say that I agree with this idea. I think it would be very neat and, heck, even what Draiz said, "Christmas in July~" Maybe we could have some weird Summer holiday? Of course, it would be awesome for Christmas, too, oh yes it would.  

I like what Shrewd said, with it possibly using a different currency. Christmas is, after all, not who has the most money, but the thought put behind the gifts.

Perhaps random mystery gifts/blank gifts could have different prices, prices that somewhat reflected the rarity of what was inside the box?
