I know this topic was talked about before, but I can't find it anymore because I'm dumb and because lotsa stuff changed since back then anyway. So I try again? o3o

This is about suggesting Diosol licenses because they are the only breedable species which doesn't have them. I kinda-sorta remember what people said against them before, so I try to put all things I thought about into points.

- First, before saying anything else, I want to state that I am aware that Baal is very busy and the one who does the Diosol. This is why I would like to suggest only 500KS as a "prize" for the A license, not a custom Diosol. Since a Lucain/Gon A license gives you 1000KS, it seems fitting to give 500KS for a Diosol A license, since Diosol have half the value of Gon/Cain.

- I remember that people said in the old discussion thread that I can't find anymore that Diosol are more for "elite" breeders since the cost for breeding them is so high and so, licenses for them would be "unfair" to those with no GT access. However, the KS cost for BBs have now gone down to 350KS. Yes, that's still more than the 125KS for a key, but Diosol often sell for 350-400KS, while Cain/Gon sell for much more most of the time, up to 1000KS. If we take 750KS as an average Cain/Gon cost, 750+125 is still 825KS while 400+350 is less - 750KS. As such, breeding Diosol is not more expensive than Cain and Gon breedings anymore. (Yes, I am aware that getting a pet is a one-time thing while you need a new key/BB for every breeding. But lotsa people rent out pets as well to erase the 'pet' cost, so it should be possible, especially with so much more KS in the economy now).

- Litter numbers for Gon were pretty much adjusted to the "same" as Diosol numbers - two for sure with a possibility of three. Sure, BBv2s (and with that a litter of three) can only be bought for GT still, but a litter of three for Gon is rare as well, so I see that pretty much as equal. So the "types" of breedings are really very equal now so that I think they all deserve licenses.

- Seeing how Baal does the bunnies alone while the mods do the other breedings together, it's hardly a surprise that there are far less BBs than keys. That should reflect in the license numbers. Maybe 60 or 65 for the A license? Since it's mostly thought of as a "fun" license, with no custom prize, I don't think a low number would be bad. The number is still hard enough to reach to take its time, but its still very possible.

- I am aware that with all that needs to be done on Evelon, a new license system isn't exactly a priority. But doesn't it require only a picture that gets colored in 3-4 colors? I'm sure we can find someone willing to draw something as simple as that - the other licenses aren't all that complex, either, after all. I offer to try? But I draw like a retard, lawl. But a bad picture is better than no picture? 8D;

- I don't think there's anything really being a point against this if there is no custom prize at the end, right? Since licenses wouldn't mean more work for Baal at all that way, which I remember was another point of people in the other thread I can't find anymore.

- MAIN POINT: I think licenses would maybe change the breeding behavior of people a bit. There seems to be a trend of people offering to breed with others "for numbers" right now, wanting no offspring and only the breedings recorded for their licenses, offering more of their pets that way to others. Rentals always have the problem that some people don't want their characters "butchered" (I know I am one of them, but I know that there are others as well - I think Shrewdie said something like that about her characters as well before). If there would be a license and, with that, some "point" in offering to breed for numbers, people would do that for bunnies as well. Breeding bunnies is the only way to influence things a bit if you need a specific-looking bunny for a character since bunnies don't have a custom-option. If more people would be willing to help out with their bunnies because there is a license, a lot of people would possibly be more willing to share their BBs this way, meaning more shared BBs, more bunny color variety, more happy people who get bunnies looking like they want them to look and so on. Never underestimate what simply having a goal like a number to reach can do (though I am one of these grinders in video games anyway...). XD

So yes. These are my points. If someone can find the old thread for me or remember other points talked about there, I would love to hear them. o3o
