That is possible however it would come with a price I expect XD;; like... a good... 100ks or more expensive because your getting extra for 2 or more offspring. Plus sometimes its easier to add them on than take off.

To be frankly, I wish we had lots of more potions to control things in breedings, like a potion which would prevent additional minimarks to pop up on Lucain. As such, I agree strongly with Cookie that I would like a potion to keep markings on Gon on control as well. (And I also would like a potion that we could use if we would only like Gon of one species because this can, so far, be only controlled through XX/XY potions and using a Gon with a male/female only head.)

I don't really agree with this, since I feel that breeding is supposed to have an element of randomness to it, and adding too much control would make it boring. Also, just curious, but why would you prefer a potion to restrict and the "normal" thing being a possibility of extra markings, instead of the "normal" thing being three markings and having a potion to possibly make there be more?

I have to agree with  GrayGriffin on this. Too much control is bad in the same way no control at all is bad. People have control over what colors they use, what genders are available, the max and min of the litter as well as some control over the species and even control over the markings through their pets chosen to breed as well as through chaos.

I once thought I wanted to omit a species from a gon breeding... only because I dislike some gon only because of their head or body bar... but I have come to realize that if you don't like it you can sell it. Also the more you restrict things the harder it is on the mods doing them.

The Skimp Tonic could be modified to give you a choice of minimizing markings or minimizing litter size if people did want to keep their offspring at 2 markings for Lucain and 3 for Gon if the limits as are were increased. I say choice since obviously not everyone wanting the 'normal' amount of markings wants to limit their number of kids as well. But yeah. If you guys are worried about an excessive amount of potions (I like potions. It means eating more of your money. C=) it's a solution to combine those two, since it's not like everyone and their sister is going to want to use the Skimp Tonic as is.

(It's also off topic, but I will let it be known that the other mods are interested in putting a potion out that allows you to be a bit more restrictive of how your offspring turn out. That's not a topic for this thread though since this is specifically about markings.)

Ah, sorry Gray, you misunderstood me; for Paragon, I would indeed like it if the normal thing would be three markings and extra markings would be the potion thing. The potion to prevent additional things was what I suggested for Lucain who have these extra mini-markings pop up (which to me is a horribly annoying thing since we can get the minimarkings we like through Evo-Lux anyway and I dislike a lot of them, so I don't want any to pop up during my breedings).

And lol, Kyrit, I like potions as well. :> Never enough potions! =D

I don't really see the problem with a potion that picks a head between the two parents (or maybe a random head if using a chaos draught?). I also like the idea of one that keeps random minimarkings from showing up because if they are on top of any larger markings, they're impossible to remove without getting a custom. If people want to keep the super randomness of breedings, then they don't have to use the potions. Its as simple as that. I don't see why other people have to get stuff they absolutely don't want/like because some people want to keep the randomness.

And obviously potion stock/prices will keep people from doing it for every breeding.

I'd be cool with the idea of potions to control markings/'Gon species o3o I think it would definitely help people get what they want out a breeding. And yeah, as Cookie said, if you like the randomness, then just don't use any potions.

Bumping this, because I love the idea of increasing the number of markings for paragon and splitting them up between markings and mini markings. Has there been any further feedback from Baal on this since 2013?
