You need a war badge to enter the war RP areas. Those were distributed at the start when people signed up for factions, though you can buy them now in the Mage's Brewery too. People are still RPing in those areas, they're just not visible until you get a badge.

There are a few suggestions of yours that could possibly happen, and some that are at least similar to things we are working on doing. I do agree that there are many things in the rules/help section that could definitely use updating. Part of us having more staff members now  is so they can start taking care of some stuff while we catch up on projects that have been worked on behind the scenes for ages but we rarely had time to work on.

For the time being though, I can say I did finally move out the rest of the roleplays in the Easter Event section and got rid of that since it was something that was meant to happen long ago and just kept getting looked over. For the time being I'll at least give a few remarks on some of the suggested changes;

Members Suggestions its own Section;
Part of what you were going for is trimming down sections, right? Since you're wanting to consolidate some areas. If you're wanting us to trim down the front page, doing this is working against such. I don't think it's hard to tell if a post has been made in that section or not. If a post has been made in the section the boarder of the icon will be red, not blue. You can see both no new posts (Ownership Records) and new posts (Trade Notification Center) in this picture, along with the difference between them.

Wishlist as subsection of important docs;
This is something I'd be fine with. I'm not for the Official Records ending up as a subsection of this though, as nothing in the Important Documents section is official. Putting official records as a subsection of non-official records seems all sorts of weird to me, and I don't know how it would make them easier to get to.

Trader's Outpost;
Yeah. It's all outdated. We've got too many projects on our hands right now to worry about potential revamps of the outpost. We'll worry about the fate of the Outpost and Morey overall once we've gotten some of our major projects taken care of.

War;
As Gray and Crow have pointed out, the war is very much going on. Granted it's been dragging on longer than it should really since I've been unable to really sit down and get the story written out, but it's going on. Those that have badges see something similar to this, though depending on the side of the war you're on you'd be missing a subsection or two. I can see them all since I'm staff, but yeah. The fact you didn't realize the war was going on still though does tell me that it would be a good idea to make a thread in the story area informing new users/returning members that haven't been around in a long time where they can get war badges.

Outline roleplays;
This is honestly a section that never really hit it off. I'm personally fine with taking both of them and combining them in one section. I'd probably personally just put it in the "Other Roleplays" section, but if people did want to see it used as a roleplay advertisement forum instead something like that could work. I doubt it'll help promote open roleplays or anything though.

Sekudui;
We've talked about possible revamps of it a few times, but again, it's a low priority compared to projects we've been working on for over a year.

Breeding area;
Evelon is first and foremost a roleplay site. Yes, breedables are around and they're nice, but the breeding area isn't what the main focus should be. As such it shouldn't be moved up. Where are you saying to put it? Above the other roleplay sections? Most pets have been around long before the majority of the breedables. The breeding area isn't going to be moved above the normal roleplays.

Tournaments;
Tournaments require people wanting to handle battles. Very few people show interest in them, and even fewer people in modding/hosting them. Kodai's been the only one interested in modding stats for a long time. Crow's showing interest now though, so we might possibly have another staff member working on stats and battles soon. So who know. Maybe tournaments will be making a comeback some time in the future. Again though, it's not high on our priority list while we're trying to get other things pumped out.

Aaand I'm stopping here for now because my sibling is sleep drunk and isn't letting me get much done.

I would just like to say that one of the things I had trouble with when I was new was that information is somewhat scattered and hard to find sometimes.

I think maybe condensing some of the lesser used forums (for example 'our currency' which is a whole forum for literally two topics) and maybe making some simple FAQs (easier to digest than big blocks of explanation text) would help tremendously with new users!

Why not just make a link on the index page that says like "NEW MEMBERS LOOK HERE!" that leads to a post compiling links to everything needed to get started? Like. Honestly I could do that if a mod approves and can link it pfft. xD

Doesn't just happen to new members - I was looking for the page with all the Kuhna images two days ago and couldn't find it in the breeding area, even though a list with all the genetics and who bred what first is there. I was absolutely clueless what to do at this point and only found through using the search option for half an hour the list I wanted. I believe the search function brought me to the Kuhna shop and there was a link there or something. I forgot already, haha. Let's hope I don't need the list again anytime soon. xD;

@ Sheiba honestly I just use google chrome and type in "kuhna species album" or really just any internet search and it comes up pfft. But I agree it'd be good to have that in the breeding area/listing.

I think we put it under forum obtainable species for consistency with the other pets only found on the forums. Because well. That what they are.

Also I did read this and have taken note of stuff. Can't really comment on anything outside of what Kyrit said because a lot of it is on our to-do list.

If people think it would be useful, I wouldn't mind putting an FAQ together. I was gonna do something similar a while ago, but it never went anywhere because we didn't need it.
