Hey guys. It's almost that time of year again. I wanted to get a jump start on this and tell you to work on updating those wishlists! The Wish-A-Thon has become something of tradition around here, and just because Baal doesn't work on the forums any more(or rather, does a lot less on the forums. If you haven't noticed by now she is still doing a few surprise treats here and there) doesn't mean that this is going to be a blue Christmas! Seasonal Specialties may be closing their doors soon, but expect to see them opening back up rather quickly. We mods are already getting in to the holiday spirit and working to provide you with plenty of holiday cheer throughout the month of December.

But before all of that.... All those Turkezilla sure do seem to be getting pretty restless. I sure hope everyone is ready to hide inside on Thursday.

The one from last year can be found here. Basically just make sure your wishlist is nice and up to date and if you're an active member you might find yourself being given something off your wishlist by the staff. =)

A question regarding the Wish-A-Thon: What are the limits for this year's wishes? Last year, Baal said we could wish for anything, including breeding rooms and customs. I have the problem that all my wishes are customs and I suppose you and Shrewd probably won't fulfill those, right? I kinda need to know because otherwise, I have the problem of coming up with something else for my wishlist, haha. D8

We can fulfill wishes, yes. So long as we have the PSD for those pets(No Lucain, Paragon, Khimera, Khalmar, or otherwise marked as un-customizable) we can do it.

Haha, I just kinda thought you guys would be too busy to do customs for the Wish-A-Thon. o3o; But if you will, that's super-awesome! Yay!

Depending on my mood, personally, I might avoid customs (maybe cause I'm just an awful lazy jerk), since we're probably going to be rushing to get everything done on time, including making the giftboxes and the pets for them, along with our coming event for Thanks For Life Day (whoopsie, spoilerz?).

But we can do customs. We just... might not do them often. The Wish-A-Thon (to me) is more about getting what you desire rather than "Oh hai look fancy cuztom! :U". S'the thought that counts, kinda thing. :] I mean, you might be dying to just get something "not special" like... I dunno, a Common Mr. Wilson, and it would even make you happier than getting a custom. So marking what you want the most is also important for your Wishlist. In any case, it helps me choose.

And you can even ask for giftboxes, too, along with KS and breeding rooms. The only things you can't ask for are impossible stuff, like getting your fantasy creature accepted as a new Evelon pet, or something to that effect. Cause obviously... yeah. x3

It's pretty open (considering it's for wishes), so long as we can grant them.

This is truely amazing and I'm super excited for this Christmas Event. =3 I hope I get something from the Wish-A-Thon. ^-^ Anyways, thanks for heads up, I updated my wishlist.

Thanks for the answer, Shrewd. o3o It's just that with my fixation on the Fellox species, I have no interest in other pets besides them except maybe Lucain and Paragon, but since they are off-limits, there is nothing left. But I understand completely if you guys aren't in the mood for customs, seeing as you have all that other work you're already doing for Evelon. o3o So I suppose I should probably think about some other pets to put on my wishlist or some KS or indeed giftboxes. Or something. 8D

Got to clear up my wishlist. I think it's so great that this event is still happening. I love the holiday spirit and it's great to see so many people happy when their wishes are granted

I'm just kidding. Woo, Christmas is coming! I love it when the carolers come around in my neighborhood--we live nearish to a church, and the choir there sings lovely christmas music. They're so sweet, walking around in the cold to give the huge amount of seniors in the area a little christmas cheer. I'm planning to make something edible they can carry around with them to keep warm. I was thinking coffee or hot cocoa, but I don't have enough coffee beans or chocolate syrup for them all. And eating cookies with mittens is just messy.

On Topic: I'm waiting to see what wishes are granted this year. The ones last year were all so various!

I like Christmas because I get to spend time with my extended family and Grandma. I love my Grandma
