So, uh... what exactly ARE the risks? The posts don't really explain them very well. It says something about losing pets, but what does that MEAN, precisely? And what's this about items? They're kind of vague... D:

That's exactly what it means. For example, you may win a custom without add-ons, or you could lose a generation Kuhna. That means if you lose a generation Kuhna it'll be taken off your ownership list and should be deleted from your pen. Naturally we aren't going to be too mean. Say that the roll does end up with you losing a Kuhna. We'll look at your pen and do our best to pick one that doesn't have a personality. Things like that. Only things that could be gotten back(Which means no customs) can be lost.

As far as items go, think of toys/potions. Naturally the more expensive items could only be lost in the extreme risk.

How specific is the loss? And how common is this? Sorry if I'm being nosy, but if they're going to be risks that major, I feel like they should be very clearly explained...

The roll itself is very basic. As said, it might roll for you to lose a generation Kuhna. As I also said above, we then choose the Kuhna based on what it seems like doesn't have a personality. No, I won't get in to specifics since it is supposed to be random. Obviously we're not going to host an event where there are way more losses than gains though. If you're so worried about the risks, just enter the Docile version. Nothing that could cost you more than 100 KS(probably less than that even) to get back from another user easily. "retired common pets, such as your previous Doom Kitty, or your rare Sky Serraptor." Retired common pets usually go for maybe 50KS-100KS, depending on how rare. They're still easily obtainable though.

Maybe the risks for the Extreme are a bit vague (iluDraiz), but I think the point still goes across... Anything is fair game. Obviously, as Draiz said, we're not going to pick one of your characters, nor are we going to pick something you paid money for, like a custom or a bred pet (including custom bred Kuhnas). But you can re-breed Generation Kuhnas, so there's no reason why they couldn't be in the list of risks. But as it is stated in Draiz's post, yes, you may be lucky and win a custom. You might even win one of the new pet color (not new species) we made especially for the event. Both risks have the special pet(s) as prizes, and it's the only way you can get one.

Concerning the Docile version, I'm only touching retireds and the low-cost items. I won't touch your Elixir of Fertility or your Eternal Love Elixir (well, this one might just be low on the list). I might just restrict the pick from your retireds, like the Bleached and Biolune pets. Everyone has about 2-3 of EACH breed of EACH color. Compared to the fact you can win a special edition pet, it looks pretty fair to me. Low losses, good gains for Docile; Great gains, but awful losses for Extreme.

But like, you're free to not participate. x3 Personally I know I wouldn't dare because my luck is rotten and I'd just lose one of my ultra rare pets (like my Paint Drakel or something). This is just something we thought might make for a nice change of pace. Our events are always "RP this, get this, exchange this for pets at the end."

Sorry if this is stated already, just wanna make sure I know the pros to joining one or the other, since I really need a custom, but am really attatched to some of my Kuhnas.  xDDDD

The docile version is of no great interest to me, but the extreme one is already full. Five members aren't all that much and 25 posts take a long time to make, so yeah...I hope this will run for 3-4 months, but it probably won't.

No. You can't win a custom from the Docile. P= Docile is for those who want to enjoy the event, but who don't want to lose pets.

Uh, 3-4 months is a lot. x: I dunno, I guess we could increase the amount of slots.

Though we hadn't planned to make it only last like, one week, either. P: I dunno, till January, or so? We can see how things go, and then we can make changes during the event according to problems we encounter. Since this is the first of its kind, we're bound to run into some issues.

I think months is a bit of a stretch, but I agree that five members aren't the biggest amount, and the docile isn't that intriguing to me.  Now don't get me wrong, I love everything that you Mods are doing, and I can't wait for the prizes and such to start, but I would like to be able to join in because I like it so much.  And if all else fails, I can join the docile version, but I really think that the extreme would be much more fun.  ^3^

How many slots would you guys consider to be enough? 10? 15? Usually we only do five, but I guess we didn't consider that, unlike RE2's events, you need 15-25 posts and not just 5. x3

Again, Docile is for those who want to try the event, but who don't want to bet their pets. You can lose war and Ein pets in Extreme, and right now, your chances of finding a custom is 5% (within the 65% of winning a gain). If you're going in Extreme "only" (quote and quote) for a custom, you'll most likely be disappointed. :/

I don't know. Unless people think Docile is seriously not that appealing? I could always change it to make it a bit less Extreme than.. Extreme (ololol), but you guys have to realize you won't always get epic wins. You might join Extreme and still just win toys.

Don't get me wrong, it's not bad to hope for the best, just. xP Be careful, what goes up eventually falls back down.

I think that ten would be a good number, since this is a pretty interesting event, and that would help if users wanted to interact (not team up, just run into each other and such).  And I do agree that extreme is risky, but hey, I'm not exactly someone who takes risks into consideration.  xDDDD


I know, don't worry, I'm ready for just about anything.  As long as my Elektra and Delphi stay untouched.

Speaking of which, will you touch Lucain or Elder/Ancients, seeing as we can't breed or get those anymore.  (I know we can get them from the occasional tournament, but it's harder now that we can't use RL to get them.) ^^

Customs are out, we said that. Personally I also wouldn't touch Elders and Ancients, since you can't buy them anymore.

Hmm. 10 still sounds a bit low to me. Though 15 sounds like a bunch of people in the same topic. ... 12? Lol I have no clue. xD Though if Draiz is cool with it, we can total it up to 10 slots.

Again, for Docile, if people really want maybe two Extremes instead of Docile and Extreme... We can do that (I personally don't mind). I just feel it's a bit "unfair" (for lack of a better word) for those who want to try the event, but just don't want to take risks (which is fine, too). I guess... it adds variety? Is what I'm trying to say.

I have to run away to class and life soon, but you guys keep on discussing this and we can look over the suggestions. :] We're not unwilling to change, so don't be scared. :P I'm not A-OK'ing anything cause I want Draiz to see this too.

I think ten would be a good middle point, but that's just me.  Personally, I think that we should make two extremes and a docile.  The extremes would have ten, and, if the docile begins to have any attention, that could have ten to?

If we were to do what I said above, that would allow more members to participate and get into the spirit.  And you're perfectly right, it does add variety, but I think that the extreme is one that more experienced or prospering members would be interested in.  ^^

Well, seeing as I have mostly customs, I'm pretty happy if I would get a chance to do the extreme version. I dunno, no risk no fun? And yes, more slots would be nice, even though it would also mean more work for the mods? Maybe it would be easier to lower the amount of posts needed to 15 for the extreme version, too?

I'm not saying docile is totally unappealing, but for me, the events are always so fun because there's some risk/work involved, you know? Like Halloween costs you around 200KS and you get random wins and Christmas is just...super-expensive and you don't know what's in the boxes. And no one knew what would happen with the Egg Points during the Easter Event, so no one knew if sitting and searching for hours would pay off well or not. The events are fun because they need commitment, either in money form or work form and that's why they are so nice. The docile version is kinda...super-tame compared to the other events, which is why I'm not all that interested by it.

EDIT: NINJA'D by Elektra. Yes. I fully support the idea of having two extreme versions with 10 slots each. Totally.
