And yeah, it's probably just that I need to get used to it, but I kinda wish Journals would stay a "big" section, too.

I am definitely fine with the change, as I think it looks much nicer this way and much less bulky. I am just glad that we can click on a subforum directly from the main page. It makes it pretty much the same.

However, I do think that Pet Stories should be under Zoo Pens, since they seem more connected to that area, sort of like an extension to our characters' information.

I'm sad that Pet Stats is now a sub-forum, but then, I'm the Crazy Stat Lady, so... P=; Still, I think it might help new users better if it remained its own forum. It's so small that some people might miss it – it took me forever to find out where you had put it after you moved it. And the section is important if people want to participate in battles/site plots (since those include battles), so it's important for people to be able to find it.

I'd also prefer it if Journals was a main topic again, my reasoning is as thus: I always check 'Journals' to see if someone has written anything new (Not stalking, honest   ) and now I will have no idea is someone has posted in Journals or All About You. This annoys me a lot, I already find it annoying that you can't tell if someone has posted in Gossip & Chatter or if they've posted in Posting Games. I realise it may sound lazy to find this so annoying when I can just click and find out (although a laptop that sometimes runs like a snail could explain some of the annoyance with looooong slooooow page loading).

I've already said the journals will not be moved back. There also is a way to tell if a subforum has a new post rather than the forum itself. This screenshot shows you what the difference between a subforum with no new posts and a subforum with at least one new post is. If you see the red such as in that one, then the Journals section must have a new post. If the All About You! forum is red but the subforum icon doesn't have the red around it, you know that there has not been a new post in there.

As for the Pet Stats, I don't really see why they wouldn't be very fitting under zoo pens. You keep your pets stats in your zoo pen. If by some chance you miss the subforum originally, you'll catch it when you open the Zoo Pen forum. It's large at the top of the forum and thus pretty hard to miss for any new person making a pen. It's also not something that we make people post, so I don't think it really needs to be a main forum when it fits so well under one.

The Journals image is permanently red for me, i'm guessing because i'd have to go through every single journal to get rid of the red, so that doesn't tell me where the new posts are. And sorry, but your previous response didn't read as 'Journals will absolutely definately not be being moved back', but simply as a response/discussion to someone else's view on the topic. I was merely adding my thoughts as I believed you wanted some feedback.

Edit: Just found the 'Mark topics as read' option, so that solves that issue I suppose.
