Whenever it's our birthday, we hand out a special pet for the occasion. A tradition started by Baal that we decided to continue. Since Kodai and I were both born in April, I picked December as my 'birthday' month because that's when I graduated.

Specifically, on December 10, so I'm a day late... but that's fine.

This year's pet is based on something that happened in my life that left an impact. Last year, the Discovery Evren was based on my graduation; the D from Dawson (College) often stood for Discovery, and the school's color is blue.

Shieba is right on. The Hunter is based on our family tombstone, which we bought because of my dad's passing back in May.
