Shieba is right on. The Hunter is based on our family tombstone, which we bought because of my dad's passing back in May.

The tombstone is really beautiful! Totally worth the money, I think. I'm glad I was right and didn't bring up unpleasant memories for nothing.

It doesn't bring any bad memories. xD If it did, I wouldn't talk about it. The trick to make it easier to mourn is to talk about it.

And I dunno, does it look like it's worth $12,000? xD $10,000 for the funeral, $12,000 for the tombstone. There goes his life insurance.

And I think it does look rather expensive, at least the ornaments on the sides do. It also seems to be really big and all. The one from my family is barely half the size and cost around $3500, but it's also a far cheaper stone lying on the grave instead of standing and stuff, though our letters have more ornaments.

And I think that with such a topic, people were perhaps scared to guess. I mean, a lot of us knew about your father passing away and the topic title alone indicates it has something to do with it. I was scared to guess, too, but figured that ignoring that invitation would have been rude as well, so I did.^^;
