What should the Winter Tournament's stat requirements be?

Be sure to check that you're including all the required information when you sign up.

Round robin-style tournaments – you are allowed to start your battle for the next round if it is listed, even if you are still in a battle.

You now have FIVE days in which to reply to your battle, instead of three.

The six-Battle Trait rule does not include Racial Traits. Racial Traits were never counted against the limit of six Personal Battle Traits you could choose (back when Passive Traits had limits), so it doesn't make sense to restrict that now, especially since Racial Traits are meant to represent innate abilities of the pet.

I personally think that 25-35 is ideal for either Offense or Defense. xD; But since most people will vote for a specific other option, I went with that as well and chose 20-30 and Defense since restricting Offense often led to scratch damage battles which took an endless amount of time because people could have significantly higher Defense. With the posting time limit increased, I think restricting Defense is smarter. And restricting Endurance doesn't really make sense to me; we had the problem last time with the Speed restriction that without either Defense or Offense restricted, the pets were very, very differently powerful. I don't think that's good to have again.

I know having stats around the 20-30 range probably can get the most people to join, but I'd still love to see a high level/stat tournament in the future xD;

Just posting to say that I think defense is the best stat to limit out of the three listed, rather than endurance or offense, so my vote went for that.

And I also wanted to comment saying that I liked that speed was used as the limited stat previously. In my opinion, it is nice to have some battles with differences in "power." If pets were always similar in power, I don't think the battles would always be interesting. And, clearly, with users being forced to use a variety of their own pets, that's good, too.

And, though this still has nothing to do it, I think a better tournament turn-out might happen if the stat request thread was updated more frequently. I couldn't enter the last tournament because of that, for example, and others may be more interested if they know that they can get battle traits for their pets that fit the requirements in time for the tournament.

If no one else signs up, I can fill it myself... but I don't know if you guys would think that's fair since I already know who's entering. ; 3; (Not that I would use that to my advantage; I only have one pet that fits the requirements that I would be willing to use in a tournament and he's... pretty average, I guess, in terms of stats/Traits.)

Hooray! Just curious, what's everyone's plan for battle? I can handle as many simultaneous battles as you guys want.

Gray, the battles don't get all announced at once. XD Basically, the first round gets announced and only when one battle is over, the next ones for those two pets get announced. o3o It's not all at once or poor Kodai would die.

EDIT:...Except that Dai seems to do it differently this time. 8|; Well, if it's different, I can do all at once as well. XD; Sorry about that, didn't see that we had the full lineup this time.
