It's probably a great thing that I never go on the IRC, 'cause I'd be throwing it around like a hot potato. Specifically, "all-black, working-pedigree GSD." Third most intelligent dog on the planet, my lucky number.

See, I can't decide if I want a solid white, a solid black, a sable, or a cream. 8'| I WISH I could afford one of each coloration and just keep a pack (OMG the level of protection I'd have! 8'D) but.. yeah. Don't see that happening any time soon. And while I'd love to buy one from a working-pedigree, I'm mainly focused on getting one that comes from a line with straight backs and the joint issues have been bred out. :/ But I'll most likely end up going to the local rescues and pound and get one from there that has a straight back and has a desirable temperament.

It's the working-pedigrees that have the straight backs, show-strains have all the problems. But yeah, I agree with you there. Don't want to open that can of worms if I can help it.

I have to find one that's proven itself around smaller dogs, 'cause I have a chihuahua girlie who's not going anywhere. It's obvious I love dogs that aren't shy about barking, isn't it?
