Anything that's really minor and won't be drastically changing the way breeding works will be listed here.

Our first update involves the whole percentage thing with breeding quirks such as two-tone wingblades and albino offspring. We have decided to take away the percentages and instead just state if the quirk is common, uncommon, or rare. This was decided since even in the old days the percentages weren't strictly followed. The lack of percentages even includes the amount of pups or eggs you get, since we've never rolled for that even.

A new raffle for breeding room keys has opened up after a long time in celebration of Mother's Day! Make sure to call your mothers if you don't get to see them in person and at least wish them a happy other's day. =) And good luck to those future mothers we have on the forums as well.

I'm not so sure if I should consider this a minor update really... but we would like to announce the return of breeding seasons. Right now they only do anything for Paragon and Lucain, and as such you can find the news about what season it is at the Breeding Center Front Desk. They'll keep it displayed there for you. We're opening up the announcement of seasons with a particularly special (and rare) one called the Blue Moon. Go check it out. =D

Question: Does the description of the Blue Moon mean that a breeding has to be started and completed within the week to count, or just started then?

"completed during this season," so yes, you have to meet both requirements. Rooms didn't always last for 2 weeks, so I'm so plenty of people can finish their rooms in that time. =)

1) Can I assume that your announcement here about the Blue Moon is the time from when it started to be active? As in, the Blue Moon ends on the 31st at 9:34PM? Because it doesn't say anything specific at the Front Desk, only that it's a week, but not from when it's a week. =/
2) Is there a list will all breeding seasons available? I remember there being a gradient season, but otherwise, I totally don't recall any others and would really like to read up on them to know what may happen and for what I may want to keep my keys around.

This update was announced right after I added it to the thread, so yes. You can consider the time I posted to be the start of the one week period.

In the past gradients pretty much were the only season. I'll be making a viewable list, but it won't be made right away. Each season will only be added to the list after it has been seen at least once, that way we have a bit of a surprise when we bring out the seasons. =)

Sorry for the double-post, but I have more questions concerning breeding seasons.

1) For the Blue Moon, the duration - one week - was stated. This is not the case with the new season. Was that a mistake or do some breeding seasons have a duration and others don't? Or is it just "Gentle Breeze" that doesn't have a set duration since it's basically the "normal" state? (if it's a mistake that the duration wasn't mentioned, what is it? XD)

2) Will potion releases and key releases now always come with the changing of breeding seasons or was that just for the Blue Moon?

3) I'm not sure if I can that much information out of you, but will there be "harmful" breeding seasons? Since the description of the Gentle Breeze is basically "ordinary", so that kinda implies to me that it could be worse. But then again, no one would breed during a "bad" season, probably. =o I just dunno if I want to hold onto my keys or not, which is why I'm asking.

1) The Gentle Breeze is the basic, typical season, yes. =) As such it just last however long until a special one ends up popping up.

2) Maybe, maybe not. It just depends on what we decide at the time.

3) Well, I think that highly depends on your view of what would be 'bad.' I can say that I don't think we've thought of any seasons that I think would be 'bad,' though it really depends on what you're going for. For example, if you're someone that hates gradients a season that prohibits them would be great for you, but for someone that loves gradients that would be bad. It all depends on the user.

Okay, thank you~ And well, in terms of "bad", I only thought about maybe the opposite of the Blue Moon - like the Blue Moon was like an automatic Generative Draught, there could be a season being like an automatic Skimp Tonic. That scared me. xD;
