Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! Or Singles Awareness/Appreciation Day. Whichever it is for you. C= Plenty of us are single on the Evelon staff, so we know that feel. Or maybe you have a waifu/husbando. I've got a waifu. And a husbando. And actually I've got lots of waifus (You know who you are, and I'm watching. ಥ⌣ಥ) here on Evelon (and off). But hey! No matter if you've got a significant other or not, we know what happens on Valentine's Day, right? ... Right?

WELL. I hope all of you area ready for the Evelon Baby Boom '14. What makes this even BETTER? We were going to do a mass key release for Lucain, we were going to do one for Paragon. But HEY. Those Soveris, man. Those new breedables. They aren't breeding. But now they are! Look at that sexy sign up there, man. That's right. Soveris keys will be released during this massive key release. We're going to do something a bit special for this release though.

Starting at 6 p.m. EST (18:00) three of each key type will be released. So, 3 Lucain, 3 Paragon, 3 Soveris keys. Every two hours after this release (so for example, 8 p.m., 10 p.m., ect) this release will happen again. Even if the front page of the breeding center hasn't been updated, don't worry. There are obviously going to be some releases that the staff is asleep during, so we can't update it at that time. This key release will continue until 12 p.m EST (12:00) for a total of 10 key releases. This is going to be considered one massive release so that during this massive release you may only grab one of each key type (1 Lucain, 1 Paragon, 1 Soveris). We want everyone to be able to partake in the holiday, so we're preventing you from snagging a key during each release and hogging them to yourself. ;)

Also, it's possible that there might actually... be more Soveris keys released than people owning them. I don't remember how many people own them right now, but since I said 3 of each key, that totals up to 30 keys of each type if you math right. So if all keys of each type aren't bought those will just be tossed in to the void. C= You'll all be happy with a total of 90 keys, right? Right? God I hope so. ⊙_⊙

I have a question. o3o What if we are still going to get our Soveris from the sale, but don't have it yet? Are we still allowed to try for a Soveris Key?

We discussed the matter, and we all agreed that we can't allow you to snag keys if you don't have the species on hand, or if you don't have a rental reserved for a breeding. We do have a specific clause that says you can apply if you have a rental, but we have actually denied people in raffles before because they didn't have the pets on hand. What are you going to do with a key for breedables you don't have?

There will be more releases in the future, especially considering how new the Soveris are. For now, if you don't have the species on hand, or a rental, then you can't enter for this particular species.

I'm curious if any Kuhna rooms will be opening? I know not many people snag them up when they do come around, but I've actually had a few planned out I wanted to do recently o3o

Well, Kyrit had to leave right before you asked your question, so I don't want to decide on my own if that could give you the ability to snag keys or not. So for now I'm afraid I have to leave you in the dark, sorry. Once Kyrit comes back, we'll talk about your question and see what decision we can come up with together.

Kuhna breeding was shut down many, many months ago. We are revamping the breeding system in order to make it more efficient and more desirable. We've been working on it, and we will keep the community updated about it when the time comes. For now, Kuhna breeding is not available until further notice.

I thought the "no snag if you don't have that species" rule applied only for raffles?

Hm, I remember that I indeed got at least Kuhna rooms without owning a Kuhna before, but then again, these didn't have keys to begin with. o3o But yeah, I really couldn't find that rule in the front desk area. Seeing the time and that there aren't that many releases yet, I posted for a Soveris Key and added a screenshot of the sent E-Mail of my order to Baal where it's shown that I ordered two Soveris. Sorry that I did so without waiting for an answer here, but I can't guarantee that I'll be around for the rest of the releases, so I decided to take my chances.
