HEYOOOO, it's my favourite time of year! I mean, yes I'm talking about May but I'm also talking about The Golden Thread Festival! Because who doesn't like gold, am I right? If you don't, pls give all gold to me. Anyway, it's Gold Weektm, so I kinda got a bit excited and did a bunch of gold things for you!
First off, here's a little freebie friend for you! I've heard they'll grow eventually but we've taken to calling them Gilded Leaflets for now. Post here to claim. You may only claim ONE (1).
To celebrate the end of the Golden Month, two new colorations have been discovered! Please visit both the Tali and Tengumi pages to find the new pets and remember to post in the respective thread to have them recorded!
Next up. NEW. EVENT.
This event will run from the 30th of May to the 13th of June. Please be aware I will be visiting the US over this period and all recording will happen after I get back on June 16! This event is of the same sort as the past events, and is hunt based. This one has a mandatory theme, you must RP your characters enjoying the Festivities around Aldrect, whether that be perusing the Twilight Markets, participating in the make-up and costume show/parade or weaving golden threads between your character and their partner's arms. Whatever it is, it's got to be in the spirit of the event!
The first hunt will grant you a Weaver pet, the second hunt will net you something a little bit new, but will be around after the event ends!
We've also got something a bit new this year! In place of any one of the two hunts, we're allowing a single art submission as well and if it's used at all, we may be more inclined to allow for art-based alternatives for other site features as well! We're all about exploring new territory here c':
Meta jokes aside, users are allowed one art submission in place of a written one and it must depict at least one Full Body with at least noticeable shading of some sort and some sort of background.

The prizes that can be received from submitting up to two hunts are as follows:
Hunt #1 - Wednesday, May 30th at 12:01 am EST to Wednesday, June 5th at 11:59 pm - One black and gold pet, covered in thread, this one is unknown, we can't even give you any details about it.
Hunt #2 - Thursday, June 6th at 12:01 am EST to Thursday, June 13th at 11:59 pm - Something new, there's been whispers of dissenters and Heretics dressed in gold and red, among those involved with the Triumvirate.
- Once per week, users are able to post a hunt in the Lone Saloon, using the new Event item, Gold Scales. Please also make sure you post the image in your thread (we'll include a form in the Saloon) so we can differentiate it from other hunts!
- Threads must contain a minimum of 10 posts (15 posts for cooperative roleplays) to qualify for a prize.
- All threads for this event must have been started in May or June 2019
- These do not count towards your weekly hunt limit, meaning you're also able to complete regular hunts during this time.
- You can use the same thread twice, just remember to link to the correct posts, that is, first hunt links to start of thread, second hunt links to a post that is after Thursday, June 6th at 12:01 am.
- In place of one hunt, a user may instead choose to submit an artistic piece. It must depict at least one Full Body with at least noticeable shading of some sort and some sort of background. We are currently preferring DeviantArt as the upload medium but it's not required at this point. Turning in a hunt still must be roleplayed though.
- If you're wanting to do a collab piece, it must depict at least two Full Bodies with at least noticeable shading of some sort and some sort of background and in an OOC comment, state who did what.
