Yes, I do realize I have no chance at this, but I'd like to apply anyway.

I'd love to be the second random event.  Evelon (and role-playing) is one of my passions, and I'd love to do anything to help out this site.  Even though I'm not on the computer that much anymore, when I'm online, I'm on Evelon.  (If anyone wants to know why I don't appear to be online, it's because I'm hiding from you all.)

I'm a pretty good role-player, as far as I can tell.  Even with writer's block, I attempt to write at least a paragraph, and you'll barely ever see me only writing three sentences, so I guess I'd probably be qualified for this job.  If I'm not, you may kill me as you wish for applying while still not being qualified.

I can't say I'm not biased, because in my opinion, everyone is biased against appearances, role-playing skills, that kind of stuff.  I, for example, am biased against people with creepy hair.  But, seeing as I can't see what type of hairstyle people have over the internet, I suppose that doesn't really matter.  The only bias I have that may affect getting this job is the fact that I'm biased against people who don't even bother to capitalize and spell simple words correctly.  But then, who isn't?

I love to read other people's role-plays, since I can get some ideas from them when I'm stuck, and because...well, they're just fun to read.  I've found a couple of role-plays that I read through every now and then to check out who the plot is developing, and everything else there.  It's quite interesting, and addictive at times.

I'm not going to give out tons of wild creatures, or give them only to friends.  Considering that wild creatures are, after all, wild, and quite rare, it wouldn't make sense to give out tons of them.  I also wouldn't give them out to only friends or give them to me, seeing as most of my friends here have applied for this job, and commented something on the lines of being happy with the wild creatures they have.  And personally, I'm happy with my Mr. Wilson, and just her.

I'm not interested in this job for the position, or even the reward.  What I'd really like to do is help out this site.  After all, I've got no money, so I can't donate, and therefore--well, I just feel like I'm not doing enough for Evelon.  I want to help in any way I can.  And therefore, I'd love to help by getting this job.

O_o how did I miss this thread?  Anyhow... Get ready for a long-winded post.

I think I should be the next Random Event because I love reading through roleplays word-by-word, often scrolling all the way back to the top of the page [and often going back to the first page if there's more than one page in said roleplay] to get an idea of what is going on, what has happened, and what might happened, in addition to formulating what my reaction would or might be [depending if I'm in the roleplay or not].  I can also remember a lot of things from roleplays: plot, characters, what's happened, why it's happened, and so on.  Evelon is my second life [my first one being my music life], but even though my school life must take priority, I always find time to get onto Evelon and read through roleplays to discover what's happened while I've been away.

Another reason I think I should be the next random event is I can come up with creative responses to situations in which a wild critter has been found and a trainer is trying to obtain it.  I've been in the roleplaying business for 3 years and have written several "creative" stories in which I create interesting situations for the characters involved and then, I put myself into their shoes to resolve the situation in the story.  I'm a really quick thinker and thus a quick roleplayer [unless my muse, otherwise named Ajeya, abandons me], which is one thing I think that the next Random Event should be able to do.  While I have several friends on the site *high-fives the IRC regulars*, I would not show any favoritism, instead choosing people from the point of view of "I don't know any of you, so I'm going to just pick the person who has the best roleplay/has been waiting patiently for a "random event" [3 or 4 days with no "bumping" posts]/et cetera," or I could use a random name-picker and do it that way.
