There's a few pets I'm particularly interested in using, which I will list below, but you may also look in my pen for anyone else you might want to RP with. If you're interested in lifemating, please look at my breeder's listing, linked in my signature, and post a request there.
If we had an ongoing roleplay that has been left inactive, feel free to also mention if you want to continue it!
Legends tell of a lightning bird whose mood is as tempestuous as the storms he makes. Blitzkrieg is that bird, but unlike what the legends claim, he is actually quite chill and few things ruffle his feathers; the tales probably say he's moody just because he often looks angry when he's not. He resides in the mountains next to an abandoned power plant, where he regulates the weather in the area and also fiddles with machines in the plant during his spare time. He has a knack for engineering, and folks know him are often amused by the fact that he's perfectly willing to use himself as a power source.
He's not much of a fighter and prefers to mediate conflict, but if it comes down to a battle, he's not afraid of using his electric powers to subdue his foe. When he's truly angry, he becomes a more dangerous fellow, but thankfully such incidents are rare. He has quite a wealth of knowledge and often goes on tangents about information he knows during conversations.
Professor Donovan is a somewhat eccentric and always energetic scientist specializing in magitechnology, or the intersection between machines and magic. Although he's brilliant and always careful to make sure his calculations are correct, he has a severe case of klutziness, and many an accident has happened in his lab as a result (though that's also how he made some of his greatest discoveries!). He's quite outgoing and open minded, and he loves sharing his research with everyone.
Azrael isn't this young man's real name, but rather a title he gained as the leader of the Reapers. He was born as Alex Tornincasa to a single mother in poor financial circumstances. He worked hard to support his mother and had a brilliant mind, but he died young during his human life and subsequently entered the Parallel World. There, he became a Reaper, trained by the previous Azrael, and when his mentor died, Alex took the name of Azrael for himself. Relaxed and cool, he comes off as irresponsible when he's actually quite dedicated to his job and to the people he cares for. He also has a mischievous streak and enjoys pushing peoples' buttons, but his particular charisma still makes him a leader respected by many. Because of his position and his difficult human experiences, he's developed a compassionate heart and a deep appreciation for the beauty of life.
Ryuu is the product of a clandestine cyborg experiment called the Tsubasa project. He was raised in a lab from youth alongside another young cyborg named Tori, and he was given metal wings and enhanced physical abilities. The scientists there planned to turn him into a spy and soldier for the government, sending him on test missions throughout his teenage years. Many of these required him to kill selected targets. However, after Tori expressed her desire for peace and a non-violent life away from the lab, Ryuu could not bear to continue his duties, knowing that doing so was disturbing the person he began to consider his sister. Eventually, they escaped from the lab together, but in the process got separated. Ryuu now roams the world searching for Tori, hiding from the scientists and government figures who want him back.
As a result of his strict and regimented upbringing, Ryuu hardly shows any emotions, though he does feel them deeply. Usually the only way you can tell his mood is by the glow of his eyes. He does not talk much and keeps his thoughts to himself. Although he has mostly sworn off fighting, he's very protective of those he cares for and will fight viciously to defend them. He's a surprisingly good cook and has developed a fondness for nice clothing after his travels.
Arkiel is a traveling mage from a faraway kingdom called Telos. He was born into the Telosian nobility and studied at the esteemed Telos College of Magic, concentrating on fire and light elemental spells. He gained fame by discovering what he called "liquid star-fire", a glowing fluid that can cause acidic burns, and he always keeps a vial of this substance around his neck as a light source and means of self defense. He began his nomadic lifestyle shortly after graduation for two reasons. One was to see more of the world, and the other was to get away from the constant warfare his brother, Armatas, started. He and his brother are quite different in personality and values; however, he still feels kinship with Armatas and sees him every so often.
Arkiel makes few lasting friends because of his lifestyle and quiet nature, but for the most part he does not mind solitude. He feels that he can think better when he is alone; his favorite activities include writing essays and doing research by himself. People who do manage to get closer to him will see that he is a kind and caring person. He doesn't like picking fights, but anyone who battles him ought to watch out for his potent magic. Although he grew up privileged, he sees the value in hard work and does not mind living without luxuries.
Armatas is the arrogant, aggressive, and anger prone "Blazing Lord" of Telos. He loves nothing more than conquest and earned his nickname from the way he figuratively (or sometimes literally) burns through his enemies' ranks and territories during war. His military genius is evident in his country's size; Telos was once a fairly small nation, but under his command it has rapidly expanded into a powerful empire that he leads with the help of his Most Noble Counsel. Because of his conquests and poor social skills, he has made quite a few enemies and has been the target of several assassination attempts, one of which took out his left eye. For a man who is so ruthless on the battlefield, however, Armatas is surprisingly reasonable with his policies. He puts his country first and uses his power to better his nation in whatever ways possible.
He is pretty ambivalent about his brother, Arkiel, since the two are so different from each other. He always lends a hand to his brother when asked out of familial duty, but at the same time he orders his sibling around a lot.
