Since I know most of you don't look at the other rping section, (I'm a stalker of it. XD) I was just gonna through this out here because I think it would be so much fun with lots of people! Is this for anime/manga/video game characters only? That's kinda how it came across.

Considering that characters from original stories are allowed too, and one of the things referenced, Homestuck, is a web... thing (I can't quite call it a comic or an animation since it's sort of both), I'd wager not.

Huh. Homestuck. Never heard of it. I tend not to do well with vagueness--which is very hypocritical of me to say, since I'm always dishing it out--but I might stop by after I think of a character. ;3

Any character, EVER is allowed. Since Homestuck, as Freezair said, is a web comic, (Greatest thing EVER) and OC's, also stated by Freezair, you can have anyone. Star Trek, etc.

Can characters be something other than humans?

Depends on what you're looking at here. I'd like for the characters to be able to comunicate, so if it's an anthro, like in Sonic, that should be fine. But if it's something from Warriors or Gardians of Ga'Hoole, I'm gonna have to say no, just because of comunicating and getting the plot around. You catch my drift on this? XD

To sum it up, If you're character can speak, then you should be fine. And if it only talks to it's own species, than no.
