Hey there!

So, I’d love to have a chance to RP with you, if you’ll have me. :3 I’m currently in the process of getting back into my usual rhythm of RPing now that RL is kind of settling into some form of regularity (being done with graduation, moving into an apartment, getting a new baby bird, and settling into a new job takes a lot of chaos off my plate – that and breaking my addiction to GW2 XD), so I’ll apologize ahead of time if I’m a tad slow on the uptake, although I don’t think that should be too much of a problem. I have quite a bit of free time at work to write now, heh.

Anywho! On to the more important stuff though: I’m quite partial to lifemate RPs personally, and I think I’ve got a lady who would go spiffingly with Law. I’ve been running plot ideas through my head all day, and I think they would make for quite an interesting dynamic – not to mention endless possibilities for ‘adventures’ together.

This is Lyssa (last name Song).

Now, I’m not 100% set on her form just yet, and she doesn’t have an official bio written up (I’ve been lazy X3), but she might be switched over to this form. Or maybe another. I’m an indecisive person, and she’s still in the works, haha.

About Lyssa:
So basically, she doesn’t exist – in the sense that she’s completely off the grid, that is. She is (or was, rather) an agent for the government, primarily for black ops, so she’s highly specialized in all forms of combat. That’s all she’s known for her entire life, so she’s quite comfortable living on the edge, and rather prefers it that way. However, due to unforeseen circumstances during her last operation, she’s now on the top priority hit-list for both the government and the organization from which she was stealing intel. It turns out the government had been secretly funding the research of a mad scientist for unknown uses, but judging by the nature of the experiments she saw, there was no way in hell it was for a good cause. Thus, she basically went rogue, and now spends most of her time flying under the radar and both avoiding as well as fighting off attempts to take her in. It seems that patience has been running short though, as the orders have now progressed to kill orders instead of live capture, so she’s been forced to be a little more trigger-happy herself in her own defense.

I was thinking either she could run into Law and accidentally mistake him for another agent with a hit on her (calamity ensues), or perhaps he could actually have been hired by one of the two organizations to take her out, and the two of them get to duke it out one way or another before circumstances change (totally not vague, haha). Maybe he’d be sympathetic once he learns the facts behind the nature of her wantedness. It’s all up in the air really, so let me know what you think, and feel free to chuck any other ideas you might have at me as well. :3

Anyway. I definitely think Lyssa and Law would go well together--Law tends to insist he only hunts monsters but I can see him being hired to take her out [and I am also not very good at rp premises so it's probably easier to go with one of your ideas, heh]. I don't remember if it's in his bio and I'm on my phone so I can't easily check, but there's another character Law usually travels with [whose name I also can't remember...I am slightly rusty. But he should be in Law's post in my pen] who serves to keep him somewhat under control; if he's involved it could produce some interesting complications? But if you don't want another character brought in then perhaps Lyssa could run into Law when he's not expecting it. Or...something. [vague gesturing]

I like fabricating all sorts of random plots in my head (that usually never actually get put on paper X3), so I think we should be able to find something that works for both of them. :3 I think that we could probably go with the first idea then, where she (being the suspicious soul that she is) mistakes Law for yet another agent sent out to dispatch her (what with his combat-ready appearance and all). Either she could run into him under suspicious circumstances (like he happens to be walking down the same dark alleyway or visiting the same bar), or he could even be following her for some entirely innocent reason (e.g. she looks like someone else he knows, something about her caught his attention, etc.). There are a million and one different ways to go about that, haha. I believe Law's companion's name is Markos - just from a quick spin through your pen - and I think it could actually be rather amusing to have him around (at least upon first meeting), not to mention he'd probably be the one keeping the two of them from just killing each other without any questions asked. XD Lemme know your thoughts on it. :3

What is a timely response Maybe he'd end up following her because he mistakes her for someone else he's been hired to go after? I guess that's not exactly an innocent reason but it's still not directly related to Lyssa. In which case Markos would be useful as a mediator, sort of.

Hehe, no worries. :3 I can start, although it might take me a day or two. I've got to help the boyfriend prep for a big interview, so the next few days might be spent suit-hunting. I don't mind getting the ball rolling though. ^^ Any preferences/ideas for a location/setting?

Law can go pretty much anywhere, although I'd prefer to avoid the Slums because I already have a roleplay going there at the moment, if that's all right. [/useless]

Well, we have that RP in Lamenolai that needs replying to. Also, maybe Lance and Skip with Mel/other members of Morgan's shop?



Mel is a "reformed" thief, who still occasionally uses her talents to trick others, although she claims it's all in the service of the shop. Perhaps the two groups could end up trying to scam each other? Could be comedic, maybe.
