So I've become slightly ashamed of how many of my roleplays are self-roleplays or done with Jed, so I'm looking for a few new roleplay buddies Since I seem to have the time to be online quite a bit nowadays but find my self-plotting muse a bit low, I'm definitely up for a few more roleplays. I should be fairly active and be able to get a reply out pretty quickly, but would notify you if something changed so that I won't be able to reply for a while. I'm especially looking for War Roleplays! Even if they have very little to do with the war, if we could center the roleplay around one of the nearby towns and earn some BP, that would be great - and hey, you could earn some BP too! I do have a few characters that I'm looking to use...so if you're interested in roleplaying with one of these characters, please let me know! (Unless otherwise stated, assume that all characters are roleplayed mainly in human form. If character is open to lifemating, feel free to let me know if you are interested in providing a lifemate.)

Malady
Open to Lifemating? Maybe - Males Only

Having been put under a curse before she was even born, Malady hasn't had a very happy or successful life. She is the carrier for an unknown and undocumented disease that she herself is immune to. The disease killed her mother and father, and is deadly to most people who come in contact with her. Little is known about it, save for the fact that it somehow latches onto a human host and begins eating them from the inside out, causing their flesh to rot and become putrid before they eventually die.

Because of her curse, Malady would probably be best roleplayed with someone who is either okay with constantly wearing some sort of safety gear (think gas mask or hazard suit) or who is somehow immune to most if not all diseases. They would probably have to meet somewhere far out from civilization, or right on the outskirts of it, since Malady tries to stay away from any other people as much as possible. She only ventures into lightly populated areas when she absolutely has to, to restock her supplies.

Her personality will come off as rude, gruff, even hostile at first. This is mainly to scare off anyone who might be in danger of being infected. But if someone is able to prove to her that she poses no threat to them, she will probably be ecstatic to have some sort of company. Although she'll also probably be awkward because of her limited time spent around others.

Muse
Open to Lifemating? Yes - Males Only

It's unsure exactly what sort of being that Muse is. For the most part, she functions like any other normal person - she can get hurt, catch viruses and diseases, has normal emotions, etc. But she has a few things that set her apart from the average woman. First, she is able to sense talent and inspire it to grow into something beautiful. If there is a person nearby who is talented and has a passion for what they do (be it cooking, designing clothes, something musical, art, etc.) Muse will feel compelled to follow them and become an inspiration to them. These talented people tend to create things far better than they normally would when Muse is around. The second difference is that Muse has a desire and need to be around these talented people as much as possible. Although she feeds her body with food like any other person, her soul is fed by the creation that stems from talent and imagination. Without this, her soul would slowly begin to fade and would eventually die. She would become a hollow shell without feelings or memories - a wraith.

Because this is the age of technology and not of imagination, Muse is finding it hard to survive. In places that she finds talent, she finds little to no imagination or creation - those who have the talent leave it unused as they labor at jobs they hate for paychecks that don't satisfy them. Every now and then, Muse begins to lose herself as her soul fades. She forgets parts of her past that she should remember, and finds it harder and harder to feel any sort of emotion.

For a roleplay - Muse would do best with someone talented and creative, whether or not they are currently using their talent. She would want to help 'feed' their creativity with her muse, and allow them to create things that could bring them joy and also restore energy to her soul. She will probably be confused and disoriented until she is able to feed off of someone's creation.

There is one person out there that Muse was literally created to inspire. This person is her 'Genius' and their talent is one that Muse will be able to shape and form into something unique and brilliant with her inspiration, if they allow her to do so. The only problem with this, is that Muse also has the ability to drain a person of their creativity and talent. If she inspires them to create things too fast, they will begin to rapidly lose energy and their soul and body will age far quicker than it is intended. The process can be reversed if caught soon enough, and aging will return to normal - but it happens very fast, and Muse must be observant at all times to ensure that she is going at a slow and steady pace that does not endanger her Genius. If someone is interested in providing a lifemate for Muse, I would much prefer that they be her Genius since the bond between Muse and her Genius will be far stronger and more unique than any other bond she could create.

Chernobyl Thorne
Open to Lifemating? Probably Not

A witch who specializes in the brewing of potions, Chernobyl is currently working for the Imperials. To anyone who asks, she is simply making small potions that perform acts such as healing or enabling one with temporary enhanced senses for special missions. But it is rumored (and true) that she is also working on other potions while funded by the Imperials - potions that could be very dangerous in the wrong hands. She herself doesn't condone the making of these, but she wants the war to be over as quickly as possible and if she can help even a tiny bit in turning the tide and ending the war in their favor, then she's willing to break a few of her own rules.

Chernobyl isn't the kind of woman that you can boss around. She isn't mean or cruel, but she has a loud voice and a demanding nature. She can be impatient at times, and has the sort of mouth that you would expect from a 'grumpy old woman' not a middle-aged witch in her prime.

Roleplaying with Chernobyl could really take place in all sorts of ways. I'm open to her possibly being captured by a Purist and interrogated about her potions (although she will probably respond sarcastically the entire time and give away none of the vital information) or she could run into someone while out gathering potion ingredients. She could be in the Infirmary providing healing potions to the wounded...you get the picture. Roleplaying with her is pretty open, although I would strongly prefer that it centers around the War, since she is currently employed by the Imperials.

Annabelle
Open to Lifemating? Probably - Males Only

Annabelle is a loud, self-assured young woman. She spends a lot of her time working the Bakery that her mother started years ago, but her time off is filled with any means of socialization she can find. She's a people person, and hates the feelings of boredom and loneliness. If she's sitting at home without any company, she's unhappy and sulky. But when she's out and about with a few friends or a large crowd, there's very little that can dampen her spirits.

For a roleplay with Annabelle, I'm pretty versatile. She could be roleplayed with someone outside of the bakery, during her time off as she is partying, shopping, enjoying a concert, or any other number of activities. Or she could meet someone inside the bakery - they could be a customer or another coworker that her parents have hired. Either way, Annabelle will be very friendly and self-confidant, although she will instantly become defensive if anyone so much as turns a dirty look upon her mother's bakery. Because a lot of her life revolves around the bakery, she is very attached to it, and will loudly argue with anyone who dares pronounce that her bakery isn't the best around.

Rosie Ingen
Open to Lifemating? Yes - Males Only

Born to two demigods, Rosie certainly isn't your average woman. Because of a rare quirk in her birth, instead of being born with a mixture of god and human blood, Rosie was born as a full-blood godess. She isn't sure exactly what her abilities as a goddess are yet, but she does know that she is endangered because of them. Her grandfather - Loki, god of chaos and mischief - wants her to rule alongside him. He will stop at nothing to try to force her to take her 'rightful place' among the gods, while all Rosie wants is a normal life.

I'm trying to breathe some new life into Rosie's plot, so I would definitely love some roleplays with her! Because of her main plot, it would be really great if someone was willing to take part in helping her escape her grandfather, and possibly helping her find a way to turn herself fully mortal so that she can finally live the type of life she's always wanted. Adding some romance along the way is possible as well, but not required.

Gunner
Open to Lifemating? Yes - females only

Gunner is part of the war, fighting for the Imperials. He's very standoffish and awkward around others, and when he's scared or nervous he tends to come off as gruff or angry even though it usually takes a lot to really ruffle him. He's afraid of appearing vulnerable, mostly because of the way he was brought up. His father always told him that to be a man was to be strong and invincible. If he was anything less, he was not a true man. Although Gunner tries to convince himself that it's alright to be imperfect, it's hard to give up the ideas that were pounded into him as a child.

Gunner's personality/plot isn't fully developed, which is why I would love to roleplay him. Most roleplays with him would probably have to be war roleplays though, simply because he is a soldier. I'm open to any sort of plot regarding the war - he could be captured and be interrogated, injured and in the infirmary, or just socializing in the mess hall.

We had a roleplay with Navvos and Harley, here, that was a potential lifemating thing and a roleplay located in the war areas, since that's where Harley's office is set up. It's actually my turn to reply there, so if you want to continue, let me know so I can post?

Then, we have this one between Arrike and Lucy, here, which was a lifemating plot. The roleplay itself is kind of in an odd area so, if you wanted, we can make use of time skips to sort of show tidbits of them furthering their relationship (like actually getting along and what not) prior to Arrike revealing that his parents were trying to force him into an arranged marriage and Lucy stepping up, declaring that she would marry him, so they can elope. xD

Well, we can always discuss time skips in PMs, if you ever feel that we have come to part of the roleplay that becomes sort of stagnant or are unsure of how to reply? We just need to figure out where we can go from there.

I have a two girls that might interest Gunner and two males for Rose, feel free to bounce other ideas if you like them.

Name: Wila Chai'at
Nickname: Kit/Kitten
Lineage: None (Custom)
Other Form: Anthro

Wila is a woman unafraid to speak her mind, a were-tiger who can sometimes come off as difficult. The problem with Wila is that she's a sweet being, having been raised to be a care taker for the young of her tribe. She sees fighting as an option of last resort, even when it means trying to save herself. This sort of pacifism has lead to Wila being walked on for most of her life, not that she would speak ill of someone for taking advantage of her. Despite her dislike of violence, Wila won't hesitate to put herself in danger to save someone else as she was taught to. Still she knows some amounts of violence and fighting is necessary to keep the world in balance, so it doesn't bother her when others use violence. When put under too much stress or startled, Wila has been known to once in a while suddenly shift into her tiger lucain form.

Plotting: Wila ends up getting caught up in the war when the Purine army scatters her tribe, in an attempt to get soldiers for their cause. Her brother is killed trying to defend her and a small cub Wila was caring for, which resulted in the cub escaping but Wila was taken captive. Since Wila isn't seen as a real threat by the army, they allow her little bits of time outside though she is always kept shackled just in case. He might be doing recon or hear a rumor about what happened to her tribe, which would explain his being there.

For the most part she is a headstrong woman, unwilling to be pushes around and stubborn as most Tuskow. For Hima the world is about living in the moment as she feels her time slipping away before she is tied down to duty and responsibly, not that she is really all that rowdy in truth. Hima is for all her brass and bluster a very down to earth woman, she thinks out her moves before she makes them and relies heavily on her instinct to lead her where she needs to be. Having become a member of M.I.S.T suddenly when she got caught up with a very angry paragon, Hima has since made the most of hunting down monster and other things that bump or kill in the night. The thing with Hima is that she never speaks of her past or where she came from, its something her co-hunters don't even bother asking about anymore. When anything about it is brought up Nama tends to either get upset or just leave that person standing there, her negative feelings about it all giving her a very pessimistic attitude to go with her rebellious spirit.

Plotting: Hima would be hunting some sort of monster under orders from her commander, it might take her to the Purine camp. They would ignore her presence since M.I.S.T is a neutral group, but she could find Gunner in a cell or a room and decided out of pure rebellion to break him out. After helping him, they could encounter the thing she's hunting and she gets hurt in the fight.

Korulu is nearly the opposite of his partner, a man with a fairly bleak outlook on life and a grim sort of behavior. While he is normally the more rational of the pair, Korulu has never been known as the last to draw his sword. He takes no real pleasure in his job as Rinia often does, instead he approaches his tasks with a somber air of resolve. That same sort of level-headed calm is how Korulu is all the time, he has never been seen to show any sort of emotion for his work; but without voicing it his heart belongs to those he works with.  Korulu is a man of few words, he prefers to let Rinia do most if not all the talking. When without her though he will often answer questions with one to six word statements, always in a monotone voice that would imply his indifference to any subject. Most of the time Korulu is nearly a statue, sitting motionless for hours in some cases not even bothering to breath. Once he was mistaken for a dead soldier because of this, and nearly removed from his tent by guards when he seemed to have died sitting with his back to a pole. It is rare, but not unheard of, for such things to cause Korulu to crack a small smile. He isn’t as emotionless as he seems, Korulu just isn’t a man who expresses a lot of what he feels or thinks.  He likes for things to be simple, and does his best not to let words complicate matters in work or personal matters. Korulu isn’t quick to jump into anything, he prefers to sit back and consider everything before involving himself liking to have an idea of the possible outcomes of an event. He prefers to spend most of his free time meditating in the calm of the temple, but what time he isn’t meditating he spends making weapons such as the ones he and Rinia both use.

Plotting: While it is unusual for him to be without Rinia, Korulu does get sent out on missions by the temple alone frequently. His job as an Enforcer of Taoh, means that he is often sent to track down and kill vampires who break certain rules of their kind. He could run across Rose while hunting a vampire, and despite himself decide to get involved after something happens to her (vampire attack or her grandfather sending something/someone after her). Not sure where you would want that set up, but maybe Starlight Town?

A notably noble young man who was raised to be a knight and guardian, Markku has little patience for those who don’t take duty seriously enough. His normally serious expression and almost monotone voice causes many of his enemies to give pause at how strong he may actually be, but does little to keep some of the men in Delta unit in line. Rarely seen without a trademark scowl on his face or his sword, he’s a man of good heart and the best intentions even if he does come across as intimidating to most that cross his path. Markku is a strict man, always following his orders to the letter and expecting the same from those involved; making him at times the butt of pranks pulled by his men. A few speculate his moody and critical attitude comes from his constant cleaning up after his partner, but is also comes from his perfectionist ways of thinking and his need to live up to the ideals of his long deceased sister. While he is always a gentleman not matter if most find his appearance “scary” or not, Markku often is alone.

Ooh, plot ideas Since I'm unsure of whether you wanted to seek roleplays or lifemating, I'll treat both as roleplays for now. But I will say that you always have interesting characters, and I could see one or both of these pairings becoming romantic if that's the way you wanted to go...

I think Gunner would have way more fun with Hima honestly, and I can see them in a roleplay together becoming very interesting xD If Hima were to free him from what he assumed would be an eventual death at the hands of the Purines, he would feel indebted to her and would want to undertake the task of helping her to hunt her monster. I can see him becoming very protective of her very quickly (this is making me think of Kaz/Siobhan haha) especially if he were to see her injured. Even after she were to get patched up, he would practically force her to accept his help, so that he could look after her and make sure that she didn't get hurt again by this monster. If that interests you, I would love to set up a roleplay. Perhaps in the Purine Interrogation Center? (Since that's probably where it would start...)

And I'd love to see Rosie with another in-human character, so Korulu interests me. Rosie is kind of a complicated young woman, though, I'll warn you. She inherited a sort of dreamy, hopeless romantic trait from her grandmother Freya (goddess of love and fertility) yet she is drawn to chaos and it follows her everywhere even when she is trying her hardest to avoid it. She's not sure of her own identity, and suffers from some pretty crazy mood-swings at times - one minute she seems shy and sweet and the next she's barking orders and practically ripping your head off for not following them fast enough. She has a bit of separation anxiety as well, since her mother recently disappeared and she hasn't been able to meet up with her father yet, so she's currently alone.
If you're still interested in a roleplay with her and Korulu, Starlight Town would be a fine place to start it. Perhaps she could be looking for her father who was supposed to meet her there, and then be attacked by the vampire Korulu was hunting? If it would draw Korulu's interest (and you don't mind) Rosie could possibly even end the vampire's life on accident. She can't control her goddess abilities, doesn't even know what they are, but they tend to take control whenever she's frightened for her life or angry enough to kill someone.

First I'm sorry for how limited in info that was, I posted it on break. As far as the where I'm really fine with the Interrogation Center on Gunner and Hima, if you would like to start that one. For Rosie and Korulu I am really fine with anywhere you feel would be good to set that one up. I can say for sure I'd be able to be on Friday, since that is my first day off with enough sleep to make nice sentences.
