Perhaps this gal with Howell?
Ferimia, "Faire"(Very short bit written up now, since I don't have her formal information:) A well known writer under the alias, "Faire," she is very passionate and serious about her work. Her writings stretch many different things, from novels, to informational pamphlets, to investigative reports. She's an intellectual sort that enjoys sitting back and observing other people, although she doesn't always sit back, and seems to be attracted to potentially dangerous situations or people.
I was thinking something along the lines of Howell randomly taking interest in her while he sees her out and about. He'd probably notice her watching other people, and then want to watch her. While he's stalking her, I would imagine she becomes aware of it, and calls him out on it? I think it would be amusing. xD They could give each other a run for their money.
Either of these two with Scarlett?
Demaster(Another short thiiing.) A being from a spirit plane that is parallel Evelon, Demaster managed to escape his bound realm by finding and connecting with, what he refers to as, "his spirit brother," Sidarthur. Specifically, this means the person from that world that is essentially their other self. By meeting in each realm at the same point, it created a temporary tear, allowing Demaster through. Though he now resides in Evelon, able to finally take on a physical form, he still retains the ability of a spirit - seemingly vanishing from the eyes of the normal living.
I imagine that Scarlett would see him when others couldn't, which is something not even his "brother," can do, although he can sense him. It would certainly be something new to him, since he typically wanders around, unseen, to observe and interact with a world that is still fairly new to him.
Vada Once a beautiful, flirtatious and very talented professional poker player, Vada only ever lost one big bet in her entire career. She gambled with a demented god of sorts, betting her mortality. She thought, if she lost, she would die, however, the outcome was even more horrifying. Rather than dying, her body began to decay, although she has kept on living. At first, she was so horrified by her appearance, that she went into hiding. However, she returned to the world of professional gambling, unable to deny her love for it. Now, however, she believes no one could ever love her and believes that she will die alone.
So, simply put, she is an undead professional poker player. The casino she is normally found at seems perfectly aware of her condition, given it is owned by a not-so-normal man and he tends to staff other unusual sorts, so they sort of protect her from cruelties that others may pose against her. (Have to treat one of their best customers well, right?) Perhaps Scarlett hears rumors about Vada and goes to the casino to investigate them?
Or her with Mina?
EmiliaBorn from the union of a vampire and a mortal, Emilia is a dhampir, a creature that has many strengths and abilities without most the faults common to vampires. In exchange for her immortality, incredible strength, enhanced senses, and unnatural grace and dexterity, not to mention her ability to create and manipulate rainbow colored flames, she must consume not only blood, but typical food on a regular basis. Although, most often, she appears in the form of a child, concealing her magical signature from those that would otherwise try to end her existence. She has a very colorful past, once operating a farm Sekudui and mapping Craiss Caverns. She has an unusual past time of exploring dangerous areas, taking up very odd jobs, and collecting rare and unusual items.
I am not entirely sure
how these two would meet, but it could be interesting, since they are both adults in the form of children. (Although Emilia's child form is closer to between eight and ten.) Emilia is in child form by choice, however, so maybe Mina would take interest in her for that reason, if it comes to light?
