At the moment, my muse and attendance on Evelon are a bit fickle. So while I will try my best to keep up with rapid posting and/or long intricate posts, I would appreciate understanding if I'm unable to post in a timely manner all the time. If you do prefer fairly regular posts, I am usually more likely to be able to keep up if the average posting length is around three paragraphs maximum. I'll still get replies in for longer posts, I just do better with three paragraphs or less.
The characters below are those I'm really looking to use. I'll list their preferred form (usually human, but there are some exceptions), whether or not they are tied to a specific roleplay area, if they have any mature themes surrounding their plot, and whether or not they are open to lifemating. If a pet is open to lifemating, feel free to inquire about a pairing!
If none of these characters interest you for a roleplay, you are free to list some characters of your own, and I'll let you know which of my characters I think would make an interesting pairing for a roleplay
Carina Caelus
Human form only. Lifemating open. No mature themes, beside possible light references.
Born to a heartless businessman father, Carina was raised with every luxury a child could want - other than a loving, nurturing family. Her older brother was the only one who seemed to care for her, and he was often too busy gallivanting off with his various female companions to be around when she needed him.
Unlike the rest of her family, Carina is kind and selfless. She cares deeply for others, to the point where it becomes unhealthy. She gives of herself, until she doesn't even have enough energy to take care of herself. Because of her constant worrying over others, she has developed a deep anxiety that often leaves her physically ill. Despite this, she can still often be found volunteering at various places.
Griffon "Grave" Rohber
Human form only. Lifemating closed. Mature themes include drug use, language, possible sexual references/actions and possible mild violence.
Griffon never wanted to get into the business of selling drugs. But when his mother developed a very aggressive and painful terminal illness, he turned to a strong anesthetic obtained from corpses. When she eventually died, he began selling small quantities of the substance, dubbed 'Supernova'. At first he was simply trying to earn enough money to pay off the debts his mother left behind, and to afford her funeral. But when he realized just how much money he could make with Supernova, he decided to keep selling it.
Years have now passed since he first began selling, and he has gone through several circumstances that had hardened him to the world. He comes off as aloof, possibly arrogant. His first priority is protecting himself. If he really likes you, he may go out of his way to help you as long as it isn't bringing any risk to his safety. If he actually sticks his neck out for you, you're an extremely lucky individual! While he isn't a skilled fighter, he can usually get out of tight situations with his persuasive speaking and bargaining. While he can be a thrill-seeker, he tries to keep it fairly reigned in, so he isn't putting himself in too much danger.
Darko
Human is his main form, but he can take Lucain form as well. Lifemating open. Mature themes include language, violence and possibly gore. May also include sexual references or actions if the theme comes up in roleplay and partner is comfortable with it.
Although he is able to take physical form, Darko is in essence a spectral being. He died, along with the rest of his family, after falling asleep with a lit cigarette. Unlike his family, Darko was unable to pass to the other side. Often forgetting that he is dead, the poor man may be found wandering about confused, obsessing over what has happened to his family and home.
Darko has several "quirks". First, he sometimes finds himself in a loop, reliving the same day over and over again. This usually happens when he witnesses a traumatic experience, and blames himself for not stopping it. The day will usually loop over and over until he either accepts the events, or finds a way to change them. His other quirks appear when he is stressed out and/or highly emotional - he may become ethereal, falling or reaching through things. He may also lose control of his form when he is upset, shifting into his Lucain form.
