I popped back into the Evelon world not too long ago and decided to do a few self-roleplay stints to brush the rust off of my form.  

Now I'm more comfortable and I would like to roleplay with some of the other members.  (Let's face it, roleplaying is best with friends!)

I have a lot of characters in my pen waiting for adventure!  Feel free to poke around and ask about one.  If you have a difficult to roleplay character that you've been having trouble finding a partner for, I can also make a partner for them.  

I want to explore pretty much everywhere in Evelon, so location is very open for discussion.

Some things to know about my general preferences:

I am comfortable with new and veteran level roleplays.  (And everyone on a level in between.)

I'm not super-romantic.  Some of my characters are very flirtatious, but most generally aren't seeking that special someone or simply haven't thought of it.  That's not to say that I don't enjoy a good romance, but I doubt many of my characters would spew love poems, sing ballads (unless that's their occupation), or even remember their anniversary.  They might, however, protect his/her partner's honor, cook them their favorite meal, or generally want to be in their company.

I will literally roleplay in just about any kind of world, universe, or fandom.  If I am unfamiliar with one, I'll look it up just to learn about it.  If you are curious to know if I'll roleplay in a certain world; just ask!  I'm super-nerdy and fan a LOT of things (Vast majority of anime and games).  

Unless my brain is completely fried, you will get at least two paragraphs.

I am A-Okay with determining things via PM before starting an RP.

If my character has an accent, I may use slightly off-grammar wording or spelling during their speech. However, I'm a firm believer that they should still be able to be understood.
((Y'all or 'nother for example may be used for a Southern or Country accent, but I'm not going to start using southern slang like "That rattler was all bowed up aimin for ma bread basket!"))

I dislike excessive purple prose and struggle with roleplays that have chat-speak.

I can promise a reply no later than a week (more likely within 2-3 days).  However, since I do have a somewhat busy life, there may be times when it could be longer.  If this is the case, I will make sure to inform you in advance.

Hey, I would love to roleplay together!I have quite a few street characters that could pair with Acane:

Anna could provide an interesting character contrast, as her strategy for dealing with street life isn't nearly as assertive and revolves more around keeping out of sight and avoiding trouble. She's still managed to keep some softness in her despite the hardship.

Kraener runs a street gambling game near the local casino, and occasionally gets roped into other business to avoid being kicked off the street. As a Biolune he's very much a night creature, and won't be found in the day without a bundle of clothes against the sun. He's quite the conman and and comes across as self-serving, but he feels trapped in the system and would get out of it if he felt like he could.

Rookie is a bit older but has a similar roughness and lack of trust, though he's probably quieter. He's got his own sense of justice fueled by a desire for revenge and leads his life as a self-styled bounty hunter bringing down poachers. It could be interesting if they were to team up for something, and she went Lycan at some point in the middle.

I also have Rail, though I feel like the two would probably have a pretty negative interaction; Rail is one of the worst types of street-dwellers you can come across, with a strong mean streak and little regard for morals.

Feel free to look through my pen as well and ask about anyone else that looks interesting, since I don't have proper descriptions written for everyone yet.

I think Acane would really dislike Anna simply because she would consider her personal tactics cowardly. (Personally I'd call them cautious or conservative, but not cowardly)  Acane is very rough and very stubborn.  She's had to fight tooth and claw for what she does have.

Honestly I think she's most likely to accompany Rookie; especially if they happened to have the same target at the time.

She may also try to take down Rail, which in itself may be an interesting take on a roleplay.

It would certainly be interesting if Acane and Rookie were to bump into each other and find out they're hunting the same target. I was thinking either Slums or Tengal as a location, unless you had other ideas?

Using Rail instead would also be fun (since I haven't gotten the chance to RP them much), but I'm not really sure what a good situation for them to meet would be... Would Acane stand up if she saw Rail picking on someone or does she mostly look after herself?

Acane wouldn't help them if they weren't helpless or if she thought the opponent was too strong, but would if she thought her chances of winning were higher than that of losing.  She doesn't like to see the strong pick on the weak; that's how she ended up the way she is now, but she also has a strong sense of self-preservation.

During a full moon Acane is at her peak strength, but her instincts also make her a bit more agressive, so a fight with her is most likely during that time.

Hmm, ok. A meeting between those two would probably work best during that time period then, if Acane still stays within the city during her peak; Rail rarely leaves populated areas.

Both pairings seem to me like they could make intriguing roleplays. I'll let you decide which pairing you'd prefer.

I feel like Acane probably needs to team up with someone more than meet a competitor l right now, so I think I'd most enjoy an rp invloving Acane learning to trust people again, and maybe making a new friend out of it.

Great! I can start the thread if you'd like. Do you have a preference between Tengal or the Slums, or some other location?

I've got an rp going in the slums already, so maybe Tengel  (or wherever, really) would be better.  I'm okay with you setting it up, too.  ^.^

I won't be able to reply until tomorrow, though.  *is on the phone currently*
