The Lucain that stood before the crowd in the arena definitely either wasn't sane, sober or fully aware of her surroundings. She looked a fierce sight though, which might have encouraged a few extra bets to be bought in her favour - the scars on her front legs adding to her image as a sort of fighter and the wicked scar that cut over her eye (though thankfully she had retained her vision) gave her a certain feral, but hardy air. Though that said, those scars were mainly from abuse as a child, but if they did the job at intimidation, why not?

Kapari took a few paces forward and wobbled a bit. She paused and took a few deep breaths - what was this strange place and what the hell was going on with her ability to think?
The last thing she remembered was Yorutanekke... Yoru, that freaking jerk. What had he done?
Kapari flicked her eyes over to her opponent, suddenly and painfully aware of the dangerous situation she was now in.

The Feyline Lucain narrowed her eyes - aware of what had to be done to get out of this place and with her hazy mind, she could probably do it with too much repercussions. The Lucain stepped forward a few paces, before aggressively lunging for the Kuhna's throat. She hoped to get a Chance Hit in, to help make this battle slightly easier.

Padding her way into the arena, Kimi wasn't paying any mind to anything around her save the lucain she saw. She knew how tough their kind could be after all Reima was no push over and this one didn't look happy. This was different though and she knew it, Reima never looked so hardened. Without blinking she regarded the other for a few seconds, sizing up how she would fair against the other. "Let's put you on ice." She smirked at the lucain. Spreading her legs to brace herself and allowed the cold to ice the edges of her fur using her Blizzard to even the field for herself.

The ice covering the floor and the chill of the air told Kimi she'd done it right this time, a far improvement considering she was still learning to use her in born skills. Still the kuhna knew better than to get cocky this early in the fight, she'd celebrate her grand feat if she could win this fight. None the less impressed by her own work, Kimi circled to her opponents left keeping her distance from the lucain in hopes of avoiding physical attacks. Her icy fur standing on end like sharp needles she decided her next move and called in the chill to herself. Her Frost burst through the chilled arena aimed for the lucain target.

Kapari gasped as an icy chill swept across the arena; ugh, the Kuhna certainly had her out of her element now, but she wasn't beat yet. The cold chill certainly helped raise her awareness slightly higher though, and she was starting to get more and more nervous about the situation she had awoken to.

"I don't know where I am, or what the hell is happening, but I'm not easily impressed by parlor tricks." Kapari hissed at the Calamikuhna.

Now... there was the ice to deal with. Kapari trod hesitantly, before pouncing at the Kuhna, fangs bared.

The hit managed to knock her pretty good, leaving Kimi bleeding and in pain. No matter, she pushed back to face the lucain and eyed her. This fight wasn't going her way, then again when did they ever start out well. Digging her claws deeply as she could into the ice Kimi lined up with the other, "A change could be fun." She told herself while her fur heated, letting the ice shimmer around her. A last ditch effort really Kimi let loose her Pyro attack with the hope it would at least stagger her opponent.

Kapari breathed a sigh of relief as the first wave of frost swept past her, with no harming effects. She didn't want to know what would happen if it had hit her, but if she didn't stop moving she'd quickly find out.

Kapari skittered back a few paces and considered the Kuhna, a small target who seemed to strangely prefer magics over their sharp claws. Kapari felt bad about landing a hit on the Kuhna, but she wasn't exactly sure of the nature of this arena - most she knew were die or surrender style. Therefore it made sense to her to at least slowly work her opponent's strength down to a point that they could surrender at.

However, whereas the Kuhna had claws, teeth and these strange powers, the Lucain only had her teeth; her blades might have been suitable for a larger opponent but not a Kuhna. So as she lunged at the Kuhna again, she could tell that her attacks where becoming slightly repetitive.

Drifting to the side of the lucain, Kimi gave a frustrated shake of her now slightly damp fur. She should have known better than to attempt to use those magic tricks so soon, still it had kept her from meeting the lucain's spikes too early in the battle. At least her opponent had missed her as well, though it had been a bit close for the kuhna's comfort. None the less she extended her claws to grip the ice clinging to the arena floor and began her charge. Pushing all she had into the handful of steps she had the bundle of black fur built enough speed to throw herself at her opponent in a Lunge. Her eyes darted to the lucain's spikes on momentarily as she knew those were going to hurt the minute she hit them.

Kapari danced out of the way of the attack yet again, panting slightly now. It was perhaps by pure luck and an already acquired sense that was the only thing that had helped her dodge everything thrown at her so far. As a pup and adolescent, she had spent most of her time around her family dodging projectiles and without such background she might have been worse off. Who knew right?

Ah, finally it seemed the Kuhna was switching to physical attacks; this turn of events would play to her advantage now for sure. In retaliation to the Calamikuhna's attack, Kapari crouched low and darted forward, aiming to snap or at least graze the Kuhna with her sharp blades.
