Both misses. At least it was on both sides this time. He'd successfully dodged out of the Lucain's attack, but so had the Lucain successfully dodged the Taigra's. None-the-less, the battle was still going. Souretsu readied himself for another attack, knowing that there was little time to waste. After a moment of analyzing his opponent, Souretsu moved to action. Again, he leaped for his opponent, with nothing more than just a normal attack, hoping to hit his mark.

Hmm. This battle seemed to be taking quite a while, what with all the misses. Ameer wanted to end it. Soon, before he made a mistake that would cost him the win. Gathering up what was probably close to the last of his energy, he made a quick decision; go for it with his all. It would cost him a great deal of energy, but perhaps it would win him the battle, if he could manage to land a hit on his opponent.

He charged towards his opponent, planning a normal attack with a hidden lunge. Hopefully it would throw the Taigra off, and allow him a hit.

(...Dang. I feel sorry for you guys missing so much. ; Especially because you're mostly rolling 9s and 10s, which are always misses no matter what your level.)

Luck must not have been on either side of the two fighters today. However, perhaps it was, as it appeared that neither of them could get a straight out hit, which meant that neither of them were getting hurt. But this battle had to end, somehow. Misses and no hits could mean a forfeit in the end if it went on too long! Souretsu didn't like the idea of that. The thought of losing or winning due to their abilities seemed a lot more appealing, even if he did end up losing. This fight had been a true test of his abilities, but there was no time to assess any mistakes or thinks he could have done different.

Tail swishing in anticipation of the fight, Sourestu crouched, preparing for another attack. This time, he dashed head-on for his opponent, showing no fear or hesitation, and launched yet another normal attack, hoping that luck would be on his side this time.

"Argh!"

It was the first time Ameer had displayed emotion, and it was aggravation. Blast this cruddy canine form! he thought to himself. I'd be fine if only I was in my human form. At the very least, he would have been missing much less. He was still a bit awkward trying to move on four paws, and it could throw him off balance at times.

The fight wasn't over yet, though. Ameer wasn't going to give up, no matter what. At least he hadn't been hurt in the last few rounds either; that was a good thing. He was losing his energy, but he had just enough for one more lunge, which he used.

"Augh!" Souretsu stumbled to the ground, a safe distance away from his opponent, as he landed from his previous attack. His chest heaved as wounds began to show themselves from the battle. Souretsu was on his last leg. Muscles shook and riveted from the intensity he'd been in. He could see his forearms trembling. Souretsu gritted his teeth... "One more... Just one more..."

The young taigra straightened himself, eyes locking on to the Lucain. One more hit and it was all over, but Souretsu was going for it. He was giving this last attack every last thing he had. With a yowl to the equivalent of a cougar, Souretsu leaped for his opponent with his suspected final  normal attack, with no holding back.

Yes! Another hit! And yet at the same time, his opponent had managed to wound him as well. This wasn't good. One more hit from his opponent was most likely all it would take to send Ameer out of the battle. However, one more good attack was all it would take for Ameer to win. He had to try, this one last time.

Gathering up his strength - or what was left of it, at least, he threw himself forward, claws ready and jaws wide open to sink his teeth into his opponent's shoulder. A basic attack was all he could do with what little energy was left.
