Pankajaar finally managed to hit his opponent, but got hit in the process. There was a scratch along his side now, from the lucain's claws. The spikes hadn't hurt so much this time around, but he was still in pain. He backed away again, readying himself for another attack.

He felt now like he was fighting a losing battle. The lucain was far larger than he, but Pan couldn't give up now. He ran toward the lucain, using his regular attack once more.

At last! Ameer had managed to hit his opponent. He had taken some damage in return, but at least he had gotten a hit in. The spikes on his body had also managed to graze her as she attacked him adding a minimal amount of damage as a bonus.

The smaller creature ran at him once again, and Ameer attempted to sidestep the attack, nipping at the kuhna's heels as she passed by.

Another hit to Pankajar. He stumbled away, a cut on his side oozing blood. But that was an old cut, this time the lucain had nipped his one back foot. He could feel the end was close now, but he couldn't give up. He had to nail this guy! He backed up, then ran forward, though a little awkward was his run. This time he went for a below attack, hoping to slip underneath the lucain and scratch him up.

Aha! Ameer's strategy had worked. He had avoided the kuhna's claws, and had been able to leave a stinging bite to one of her back paws. Just a few more hits, and the battle could possibly be over...but who the winner won depended on who it was that was landing the hits.

Using the last bit of stored energy he had, Ameer lunged towards the kuhna, hoping to possibly end the battle within the next few minutes.

Pankajar had managed to strike the lucain, but the lucain managed to hit him as well. He managed to get out from under the lucain and the canine's spiked legs scratched the side of his face. He backed away, trying to think of what he could do. He was left only with physical attacks, but he could feel that if he hit any more spikes he would be through. But he was left with no other choice.

Pankajar went forward, but slowly. He pretended that his leg was sorely hurt and limped toward the lucain, but at the last moment he dashed forward, hoping to strike the lucain but miss the spikes, which wasn't likely.

It was almost over; Ameer could feel the battle drawing to a close. He still had a fair bit of energy left, but he could tell that his opponent was weakening. Drunk off of the excitement of the battle, he couldn't think of a true strategy. Instead, he simply attacked the kuhna. Hopefully, either he would hit his opponent, or his opponent would hurt herself on his spikes and give up. Either way, Ameer just prayed that the battle would soon be over...and that he would come out champion.
