As Navvi's weight fell upon the opponent, her claws raked at him, injuring him at the same time that he was injuring her. At least his wingblades were able to give her a few small cuts as he rolled off of her. This battle was drawing near it's ending, and it was getting close. Navvi himself felt as if he were weakening. However, he did have the energy for one more lunge before he would have to resort to attacks that took less energy. He was running out of endurance, and hoped that perhaps this would weaken his opponent enough that Navvi could gain the upper hand and win the battle.

Mira coughed as Navvi rolled onto her and squashed the breath out of her. The Lucain's wingblades were poking in her face too, giving her scratches down her cheek. But she had somehow managed to land a good blow on her opponent too. She took a deep gasp for breath once her foe rolled off, and she jumped to her feet, a little dizzy from getting bowled over. Mira shook her head, trying to clear her mind, before she ran at Navvi. She too was tiring and had little energy for more powerful attacks. She'd just have to wear her opponent out little by little.

Another hit, and yet again, his opponent had hit as well. This battle was beginning to get close, and Navvi worried whether or not he'd be able to last. He had a bit of energy left, but not enough to think of some sort of attack. Knowing that he couldn't just sit there, he tried to think of how to injure his opponent. Finally, he decided to just leap towards her, claws outstretched. He was aiming for her face and head, hoping to blind or distract her long enough that he could get away and attack again.

Mira growled as she and her opponent struck each other once more. This battle was much more difficult than her first one in her previous tournament. Perhaps pure luck would be the sole determining factor. Mira made a 180 degree turn and struck out with her claws once the Lucain seemed near enough. She hoped to meet his attack head-on.

Navvi grinned as he realized that his attack had worked. He had dealt some damage whole successfully escaping receiving damage himself. It appeared as if his opponent was almost beaten, but Navvi himself was almost done as well. A layer of sweat made him feel sticky and disgusting, but that was the least of his problems right now. He had to win the battle, and soon. If this lasted much longer, Navvi himself would collapse and the battle would be lost.

Ouch! Mira snarled as she felt the Lucain's claws rake down her forehead, leaving three scratches in her fur. She thought she could feel some blood trickling down, but she ignored it. She could get patched up later. Right now she had to focus. She jumped into the air and tried to land on Navvi's back in order to knock him off his feet.

Navvi's attack hadn't planned for his opponent leaping onto his back. Pushed off balance, he tumbled into the dirt, vulnerable to her claws and teeth. He was already feeling pain from landing so hard - he had to attack again, and soon! He was weakening; in fact, he was almost done. At least his opponent had landed near his wingblades - chances were, she had been cut by them. Pushing himself to his feet, Navvi attacked again. He had to attack. Win soon, or be defeated; those were the only options left.

Mira's attack succeeded, but she also got a face full of spikes. At least her plan worked. That had been a pretty good hit, and Mira could sense her opponent tiring. She leaped off his back and twirled around to face him again. With a loud yowl, she ran at Navvi with her jaws and teeth ready. Hopefully one more hit would get him.

((Whoa, that's kinda creepy...it was turn 9, and we both rolled a 9 o.O))

Drat! Navvi had attempted to throw off the creature and then clawing at her until she allowed him the victory. His strength was severely worn down, though, and he hadn't been able to do as he had wished before she had leapt off his back, evading his attack. Luckily though, he had been able to leap to the side, avoiding her as she rushed at him. Moving quickly, he tried to catch her leg in his teeth as she went past. If he had any luck whatsoever, he would be able to trip her, and then pin her. However, luck wasn't something that Navvi could really depend on...

Drat! She missed! But thankfully the Lucain missed as well. Mira was tiring, so it took her a bit to register what her foe was trying to do next. From the corner of her eye, she saw Navvi trying to get her leg in his jaws. She had to think of how to evade, quickly. Mira awkwardly tried to turn around at the last second, lashing out with her claws. Hopefully she'd get lucky.
