After the first fight, Ares was ready to go for the next one. He waited a little while so that he could bandage his wounds and recover a bit, but then he was good to go. He entered the arena with his tails swinging. He hoped he would be able to pull of another win, but he wasn't sure. He waited for his opponent to enter, and once she was in, he readied himself for an attack. He unsheathed his claws and charged toward the diosol. He lunged toward her, hoping to make contact.

She was seriously re-thinking this whole thing. Next time, she’d flat out refuse when someone told her there was ‘an interesting tournament to take part in.’ Especially when that someone was John. And especially when there was money involved. Grumbling to herself, she fluttered into her next match, still a bit sore from fighting that stupid, psychotic fox. No sooner had Tennessee entered the arena, than some kind of insane cat was lunging at her. She made an embarrassing squeaking noise, and brought her paws up, claws unsheathed, to try and scratch him away from her.

As Ares went in for the attack, he forgot to protect himself. The diosol's claws scratched into Ares's face, causing him to draw back and miss his target. He growled deep in his throat as he retreated for another attack. But he wasn't to be defeated that easily. His claws were still unsheathed, and he was ready for the attack. He charged forward, lunging toward his opponent.

Tennessee had barely managed to dodge. The Kuhna was fast. And very bright. Maybe that was why she’d dodged him when he first attacked; she could see him coming a mile away. As the Kuhna rounded on her again, Tennessee gathered her energy, feeling it coiling through her body as it began to summon water from seemingly nowhere as a massive wave rose up form behind her. She just hoped the dang thing didn’t miss this time.

Ares watched as the wave began to form behind the diosol. It was large, and a little frightening. He tried to avoid it and attack, but failed. His attack missed. He was swept away with the water. The water was over-whelming and he ended up inhaling some as well. Once it resided he was able to catch his breath.

A growl rose within his throat. It was frustrating to miss two turns in a row. Then he lunged forward for another attack. He hoped he would hit his target this time.

Tennessee was glad the Tsunami hadn’t missed this time. It would’ve been awful if it had. She’d barely managed to dodge the Spectrakuhna a second time; his flashy colors were a dead giveaway. She decided to try something else, and as the Spectrakuhna lunged, she began to gather her energy once more. Her eyes glowed an eerie purple, shadows curling around her form as she fluttered in front of him. The shadows spiraled outward, forming eel-like tentacles that twisted and writhed in the air as they suddenly reared back and shot towards the Kuhna.

Finally, an attack landed. But his victory was short lived. Even though his claws hit flesh, the diosol's dark attack got him. Ares saw Tennessee's eyes glow purple, but wasn't quick enough to get away. The tentacles wrapped around him as they tried to crush him. He winced in pain and wiggled against them, finally getting free. The diosol was a much harder foe than his last one. He grimaced, then readied himself for his next attack. He was pretty predictable by now, it was time to switch it up a bit. It wasn't much from his usual attack, but he leaped toward the diosol.

Tennessee’s eyes faded back to their dull silver-cream color. She’d landed another hit. She was glad it hadn’t missed. But there wasn’t much time to celebrate. The Kuhna was already shaking off her last attack, and he’d landed a good one of his own, one that nearly had her reeling out of the air. She beat her little wings furiously as she charged to meet him, trying not to zig-zag too much from the dizziness of her previous hit.
