Despite the pain searing through him from his opponent's attack, Navvi was able to smile ever so slightly. "I never count a battle as either won or lost until it's over; until the moment I either collapse or defeat my opponent, I'll give it my all. I must commend you as well, though; you seem to be fairly good at this." Then, he attacked again. Lunging, for the last time since his energy was wearing pretty low, Navvi hoped that this time he would actually be able to hit his opponent. He had missed the last time, but he wasn't going to give up...as he had said, he wouldn't give up until he collapsed or was the victor.

Good, he'd managed to dodge (even though he'd stuck himself on the Lucain's wingblades again). It had been a close battle, but somebody needed to pull ahead in the end. "That is a good mentality to have, for a fighter," he replied, trying to pause for as long as he could and get a rest. "Though I sincerely hope that there is no need for your fighting, other than voluntary situations such as this." With that, he rushed again and moved to rake his claws against the Lucain's side. The end was drawing nearer with every attack.

Nodding slightly, Navvi replied, "I hope so as well." He was happy that his attack had hit it's mark. And while his opponent had gotten a hit in as well, it wasn't as hard a blow as some of the earlier ones. It did hurt a bit, and the sting of Leader's sharp body added a bit more pain. Having run out of energy, Navvi wasn't sure if he could even finish the battle. Still, he attacked once again, aiming for Leader's legs, hoping to trip him.

Ugh, what a weak attack that had been. He'd barely managed to scratch the Lucain, and had once again stuck himself on the wingblades in the process. However, it seemed that his opponent was too tired to continue lunging at him. Now that he couldn't gain that extra 'oomph' from dashing forward like that, perhaps the Leader could turn the battle in his favor. Trying to avoid tripping over the Lucain at his feet, he brought his massive head down and attempted another bite. Hopefully it'd be a better attack than the last one.

Navvi was lucky enough to have landed another hit. And not only did he score some damage, but he hadn't taken any himself. It was an all around good situation. He didn't have time to gloat or feel too happy about it, though. He had to attack again, before anything else happened. He attacked once more, praying for the best.

Well, that had worked out even worse than the last attack. Stepping back, the Leader shook his head, trying to get rid of the fatigue that was creeping up on him. Perhaps he really should forget about using his jaws in this fight. Just two more good swipes that landed on his opponent, and he could win this. He just had to make sure that the Lucain didn't take him out first. Again he rushed forward, trying to rake his claws against his opponent's hide.

It was coming down to the end of the battle. Navvi had to strike and strike true, or he would lose. He was down to his very last bit of energy. If he received one more hit, he would be down. In fact, one more hit from Leader's spiked body, and he'd probably be to the point of fainting. He had to hit him...now! Navvi attacked, hoping that the battle would be ended in his favor.

Indeed, this would be the last turn of the battle. The outcome was riding on the success or failure of these two attacks. Regardless of the outcome, though, the Leader was glad that this fight would be over. It had stretched on long enough, in his opinion. With a deep breath, he rushed forward for the last time and lashed out with his claws at the Lucain. Just as his opponent, he was hoping for luck's favor right now. One dodge and one hit was all that was needed.
