After the last battle Ares was a little embarrassed. The insane fellox's loud voice had confused him so much he had attacked himself, causing so much damage he had fainted and lost the battle. But now he was ready for his next battle. He hoped the lucain opponent wasn't nearly as crazy as the fellox. He was wary, but that wouldn't stop him. Ares readied himself, unsheathing his claws and lunging for his opponent.

Well...after three battles, Navvi was beginning to feel a bit tired out. However, he was enjoying himself. Even when he lost, the battles were fun and amusing. They left him with injuries, yes, but they healed fairly quickly with the aide of a healer.

This time, he was up against a kuhna...a first, for him. The creature was quite a bit smaller than Navvi himself, but Navvi had learned long ago to never underestimate an opponent. As the kuhna lunged for him, Navvi retaliated by spitting poison. If he hit his target - the kuhna's eyes - then hopefully the kuhna would be blinded enough that his defenses would be down and Navvi could attack.

Ares hadn't taken into account the spikes on the lucain's back as he attacked. Sure, he hit his target, but he made it out with a few scrapes where he hit. He also got some kind of awful poison in his eyes. He blinked, trying to clear his vision, but it didn't work very well. He just hoped it wore off soon. Then Ares decided he was tired of the contact fighting. Everyone he was fighting lately were taking on the other kinds of fighting, like spitting, tentacle things and screeching. It would take a lot of energy, but he'd do it. He summoned forth the light, calling it to shoot toward the lucain.

His poison had hit it's target perfectly! Of course, he had been hit as well...but at least the kuhna's defense would be lowered for a while - hopefully the entire battle. Plus, he had felt the kuhna hit his spikes when he attacked Navvi, so he had taken at least a bit of damage. Spinning around, Navvi decided to lunge at his opponent. It wasn't the greatest tactic, he knew. But he was honestly too tired out from the previous battles to think of a better attack.

Somehow the ray had hit his opponent, but not stop him from his attack. Ares felt the others claws dig into him, and he spun away instinctively. He winced in pain as he backed away and got ready for his next attack. He crouched, unsheathing his claws once more. He was so tried from his last attack, but he had to keep going. Ares went toward his opponent, aiming for his flank with his claws ready.

What was it with elemental attacks? Navvi's last opponent had used them as well - it was something that Navvi really wasn't accustomed to. However, he was somehow able to hit the kuhna despite the ray that had injured him slightly. Spinning around, he lunged at the kuhna. His brain was still slightly muddled from the ray, but he was going to press on. After all, wasn't that what Navvi did? He pressed on, even when it seemed as if things were dire.

They nearly collided with one another. Ares felt his claws dig into the other, but he also felt like he had been hit as well. And it wasn't only by the others claws, but the spikes on his legs. Ares spun away as quickly as he could, which also meant he didn't get to attack as well as he would have liked. He felt stinging where the claws and spikes had marred his flesh. There were several of them, and they hurt. But he pushed those thoughts away. He needed to fight. His vision was still a little blurry from the poison, but he would be fine, well, he hoped, anyway. Ares gathered the light again for another ray attack, hoping it would damage his opponent.

This battle seemed to be going well so far. It wasn't overly easy, which was a bore. Nor was it incredibly taxing - in fact, they seemed close to evenly matched. However, these elemental attacks were beginning to annoy Navvi. Lunging once more, he attempted to avoid the ray coming at him. If he could just deal some damage to the kuhna without gaining any himself, he'd be happy. Not that he wouldn't be happy if he lost...but he'd be much more satisfied with himself if he won.

His ray hit his target, which was such a good thing. Ares just wished his elemental attacks were stronger, because he didn't want to attack the lucain physically again unless he had to. The spikes were painful and made him want to not attack him that way. He also managed to dodge his opponent this time, which he was glad of. His vision must have been improving since the poison attack. He concentrated, drawing on the light again.

The ray had struck it's mark, and Navvi felt the pain of it. Thrown off course, his attack had missed it's target, and he cursed under his breath. He was running out of energy for attacks, and he knew that he was at only about half energy now - less, in fact. He had to end this battle soon, before his opponent gained the upper hand. Lunging once more, he prayed that this time he would not miss. He had to do some damage before his energy was completely drained!
