Phew. This spring tournament had been much longer than the previous tournament, though Mira imagined that there couldn't be much further to go. One would think she'd be tired after all those fights, but the medics that healed everyone after battle did miracles. She stepped into the arena, head held high, wondering who she'd fight next. To her surprised, she saw a Diosol, which was somewhat of a relief because she was tired of dealing with spiky enemies. Mira waited until her foe was ready before casting an ice ball at the Diosol.

Oh, it was a cat. Kind of ironic. First a fox, now a cat. Tennessee squeezed her eyes shut briefly as she gathered her energy. Might as well start this off the right way, and since she could see the massive frost attack coming her way, she gathered her energy as well. Her eyes glowed a pale blue as she summoned a torrent of water and sent it towards the cat. She hoped the old adage of ‘cats hate water’ was right.

Mira beamed when she saw her attack hit, but the smile quickly turned startled when she saw a torrent of water rushing at her. Mira was pushed backwards roughly by the blast, and she ended up on the ground coughing out water. Well, she certainly hadn't expected that. But she wasn't going to let a bit of water get in her way. She shook her fur out and ran at the Diosol, getting her claws ready to rake down the bunny's hide.

That. Was. Cold.

Tennessee shivered violently, shaking the frost from her fur. She always hated the winter. Now she was fighting someone who could control cold. She resisted the urge to roll her eyes; it would figure, wouldn't it? Grumbling to herself, she slowly began to gather energy again. her eyes began to glow as she summoned another blast of water.

Mira felt her claws get the rabbit, but soon after, another water blast pushed her back. She spat some water out of her mouth, coughing to clear out her lungs. Attacking the Diosol in hand-to-hand combat was harder than she thought. Perhaps she should wait for the Diosol to get more tired before attempting to do so. Mira hissed and launched yet another ice ball at the rabbit, hoping for a hit.

Oh. Crap. More ice. Tennessee didn’t like the idea of being hit by that again. She was still shivering from the last blast. Steeling herself, she gathered her energy again. She still had enough left for another attack. Her eyes glowed as she sent another blast Mira’s way.

Mira hissed when she saw the ice ball miss. Yet another blast of water pummeled her, forcing her to the floor. Perhaps this battle would be longer than she thought. Mira sprang to her feet, shaking the water off of her, before launching yet another ice shard. This would probably be the last ice attack she had energy for. After that, it was time for hand-to-hand combat.

She was going to try and drown this cat. Or at least make her mad. Because she was sure getting hit by water consistently probably didn’t do much for Mira’s mood. Tennessee wasn’t concerned about that; she was just concerned about winning, if she could. With a frown, she gathered her energy again and sent a blast of water towards her opponent. Cats hated water, after all.

Mira snarled in frustration when she missed yet again and got another mouthful of water. It wasn't so much the water that annoyed her than the fact that she kept failing to hit. Her magic powers were exhausted now, so it was time to get her claws ready for action. She popped them out and leaped at the Diosol. Hopefully this would be a fair hit.

Tennessee fluttered rapidly. She’d barely managed to dodge that last attack. Thank goodness though. She wasn’t sure if she could take another direct hit. That cat was pretty strong. But now it was her turn to use her claws as well. With a rapid beating of wings, she launched herself at her opponent.
