This battle would probably be the hardest for Navvi. Not because he thought that his opponent was unbeatable; no, Navvi never counted a battle as lost before it was begun. However, this battle caused a few conflicting emotions for Navvi. The name on the line-up sheet still echoed within Navvi's head: Sedimus Shinra Kronos. It was his son. Even they weren't of the same blood, Sedimus was every bit Navvi's son, and it was going to be hard to face him in the tournament. However, perhaps Navvi could treat it like a training, or something of that sort. Maybe then he would be able to handle it.

Watching as his son stepped into the arena, Navvi bowed, as was custom. "Good luck, son." Then, with little warning, he lunged. It wasn't with as much force as he would usually use - he really didn't want to hurt Sedimus too much.

Sedimus had been dreading this match the entire time. While Navvi was not his true father he did have feelings for him and it would be hard for him to fight. He did not want to hurt his father, but at the same time he did not want to lose. He bowed to his father and smiled. "Good luck to you too." Then without much warning his father lunged at him. Sedimus waited until his father was close before lunging as well at him.

Navvi felt the sting of Sedimus' attack, and nodded, smiling slightly. "Well, it seems that you certainly know how to land a hit." Navvi had a feeling that he had dealt more damage than he had received, though. It felt awkward attacking the boy that he had helped raise. Still, he knew that Sedimus' pride would be hurt if Navvi simply didn't try to allow him to win. So he lunged again. Hopefully he wouldn't hurt Sedimus too bad.

Sedimus felt the sting of Navvi's hit but refused to show it. He didn't want to look as weak as he really was. "Heh, you do too dad." He smiled and waited for his father to show signs of his attack before gathering energy to himself. He just hoped it wouldn't hurt his father too bad. He released the electric energy towards his father and prayed he'd not get too badly hurt.

The stun from Sedimus' offensive attack caused Navvi to reel back and miss during his own. The electric energy singed his fur and he gritted his teeth. Still, he was able to smile at his son. He was proud of how well Sedimus was at fighting. Of course, it seemed that both of them were being slightly more cautious than they would be if they were fighting anyone else. Once he had recovered, Navvi lunged again. He wanted to end this somewhat soon. The sooner this battle was over, the sooner Navvi could stop attacking his son!

Sedimus ground his teeth when he saw his attack hit. He knew it had to hurt, and he did nto want his father to be in pain. He raced towards his father again and tried to get behind him to attack. He'd be less liekly to get hurt by his wingblades and less likely to be hit by his attack. He gathered electricity once again and shot it towards his father.

Navvi hadn't anticipated Sedimus getting behind him. Before he could spin around and dodge whatever attack was coming his way, he felt the burn of electricity again. "Well, looks like I'm getting slow in my old age, eh?" Navvi chuckled slightly as he turned to face Sedimus again. Then, he once again lunged. He was getting really sick of lunging at his son. Hopefully, this battle would be over soon!

Sedimus was nto out of energy for another elemental attack and prepared himself for a normal one. "Not that slow dad! I'm just that fast!" He smiled and watched his father race towards him. he then lashed otu at him with his paws. Hopefully neither would get hurt too bad.

This was incredibly unfortunate. Navvi kept missing! Actually, now that he thought about it, this was a good thing. He wasn't hitting his son as often, and was instead taking damage. He preferred things this way. But maybe, if he could get a small hit on a crucial part of Sedimus, then Navvi could end the battle without too much pain? If he was able to hit Sedimus' legs and take him out that way, Navvi would win. He didn't know if he'd  be able to hit with the luck he had been having, but he had to try. Aiming for Sedimus' legs, he lunged again.

Sedimus had mixed feelings about his father's lack of luck with hitting him. He did want to win, but.....it was taking too long and now he no energy left to use. Gritting his teeth and looking for an opening he leapt at his father. He just prayed it would all be over soon. He slashed at Navvi with his claws.
