Shawn walked onto the battlefield, an excited grin on his face. He had been told to leave Mr. Flappy and Mr. Teddy on the bench, so he had put them somewhere nice and safe where they could watch him. His opponent was a pretty-looking Fellox lady-it was too bad they had to fight. But they could still say hi, right?

"Hi! I'm Shawn!" he called. "And, well, I guess we have to fight. But maybe we can talk later!" With those words, he took off into the air, before soaring downwards, his wings extended, ready to hit her as hard as he could.

Dear goodness, Morwena had barely time to enter the arena before she got attacked - from the air, no less! But her opponent seemed to be a real nice one, too. Or maybe he was flirting? Well, Morwena was sadly taken, but the Paragon probably didn't know that. Neither did he know that she was a mage, obviously. Morwena refused to just stand there and take the blow - she quickly switched into her human form (high heels and revealing dress included) and tried to avoid via a burst of wind magic - and if she was already casting spells, there was no reason not to continue to do so.

"Hi there, deary!" she waved cheerfully. "I'm Morwena! Sorry, but this miiiiiight just hurt pretty badly!" She channelled her magic and tried to hit the large Paragon with raw energy.

"Aagh!" screamed Shawn, as the blast of magic tore through his shoulder. He had managed to hit her, though! But it didn't look like that hurt much. He nearly crashed, but managed to land and turn around. He didn't think he could fly again right now. Then again, his wings were still large enough to hopefully hit her hard...with that, he charged, turning at the last second so that his wings were once again giving the brunt of the attack.

Ugh! Morwena hadn't managed to evade, simply because that Paragon was much bigger than her and still lightning fast. Still, she wasn't the second best mage in her kingdom for nothing and had managed to deal a basically equally painful blow as well. Not that this stopped the Paragon, though, he was already coming at her again, trying the same trick again that he had before. Maybe that meant that she should as well? Readying her magic one more time, Morwena blasted a spell that would hurt towards her target again.

His shoulder must have been hurt more badly than he thought, because he stumbled just as he was about to hit her, and his wing just whiffed over her. However, he knew that this wasn't the end-he could still fight! But as he tried to get up, another blast crashed into his back this time, and he dropped.

"No! Shawn! Get up!" called a voice. He looked up, and saw Mr. Flappy and Mr. Teddy waving frantically at him. "You're not done yet! Don't worry!" He closed his eyes, and slowly struggled to all fours. This was it. If she hit him again, he couldn't get up. He knew that. So this time, instead of running, he crouched and leapt. If he timed it correctly, his wing should hit her right in the head.

Morwena beamed in the general direction of where her Dear was hopefully watching her. She had actually managed to avoid the last attack and now the Paragon looked like he was barely holding on. However, she knew very well that especially the enemies backed into a corner tended to fight fierce, so she was very determined to end this quickly now. Using her magic again, she tried to hit the Paragon just as he leapt at her. Hopefully, she would hit and he would fall before he would knock her down!
