My husband and I welcomed our son into the world on October 3rd at 7:05 in the evening after a long day of being induced and waiting for everything to be in go mode.

He was 9 pounds, 2 ounces and is 21.5 inches long.

We just arrived back home two days ago, and it has been trying but rewarding. Ishida and I are so beyond words happy with our little growing family--needless to say it may be a while before I'm really back here much.

Congrats, Kal!  I can definitely say that I sympathize with you -- thankfully little Nadine's to the point where she's sleeping through the night now, but it wasn't that way before.

And a little bit of mommy advice - the sooner you can get him on somewhat of a set feeding schedule, the better.  I've lost track of how many times that Torgun and I have lost track of the last time Nadine was fed.  It could be said that in parenthood, the first thing to go is the sense of time.

Awrhh congratulations on your new little one, hes adorable. I just had mine Nov 18, to bad we couldn't have play dates hehe. I love the name Silas, its so unique.   Your going to have so many more beautiful moments. I remember when Helios was born and how much hes grown. (Damn I am talking to much, sorry. ) Ever since I had a baby, I talk so much about them hehe. Anyways, sorry that I have never seen this post.
