Once a grand cathedral dedicated to the Holy Triumvirate, all that remains now are ruins ever since the religion was rejected strongly in 1823. While the religion is back in favor, the cathedral was never restored. (+3 Defense, +2 Offense)

These ruins seemed perfect for what he had planned. it was time all of his children come to pay their respects to him. Tell him of how their powers had grown... Or diminished. Over generations he knew that his blood ran thin and the children were not told of their first Father. Well, now they would know. He had tracked his bloodlines, put whispers of what was happening in the networks of those that he knew his children would find. A hand went to the ankh around his neck as he smirked, his fangs showing easily. Eternal life... It had lured many of his children to seek him.

Image Image

"Ooooh... What're we doing here, brother?" The hulking brute with a lopsided smile looked to his 'big' brother.
"Father called us here... I do not know for what, Brujah." The quieter one spoke, nudging his brother further towards the cathedral. "But he wants all of us here. You, me, Osi... Iahmes, Morpheus, Lasombra. ...Even Achilles, I think."
"A family reunion!" He laughed as he picked up his brother and happily carried him in to see their father.

Image
Quietly watching from the shadows the young female saw her father pace, her brothers come in and happily chat with him. Others would be coming soon... She kept her place in the shadows however, waiting for her favorite brother to come.

Image
Soft blue eyes looked around for his siblings as Iahmes stood at the doorway of the cathedral, weary of coming into contact with any siblings of his. He had never gotten along with any of them... He wished nothing more than for acceptance, but knew he would find nothing of the sort, not from anyone but his mother. He touched the ankh around his neck, seeing his father do the same as he stood back, waiting for her.

Image
This was all too boring. Yawning and baring out his fangs he leant back against one of the intact pews. He truly didn't care about this 'meeting' of Caine's... But there could be some interesting people from his past here... So he had decided to come.

.: Dash, Male, Twilight Kuhna :.
Standing in front of the ruins of the old Cathedral, Dash took a deep breath.  He was curious about why he was here,   and all he had really got out of an 'invitation' was that it would be a joining of Vampires at that specific time in the Cathedral.  It seemed very mysterious and somewhat dangerous-  he loved it.  The time was close to dark, which was the time of the vampires.  It was also the only time he could morph into Vampire form.  As nervous as he was, he knew they he shouldn't embarrass himself in front of the others.  "If there are any others..."  He muttered.  Takng a deep breath, he walked through a hole in the wall next to the main entrance.  Doors just weren't his thing.

Cocheta walked along the ruins, she hated this place with a burning passion. What she hated the most was this meeting. Now what was this meeting about? Cocheta wasn't sure, she wasn't paying attention when she received the message. The Hydroluhna wanted some more time to play with her food. She kicked up dirt as she walked a long the path, she hissed at her younger brother who was trailing behind her. "Why are you so slow?" She stopped and turned to face her brother. "We don't have time to play around!" her white insizers showing between her lips. "The meeting will start soon!" Cocheta screamed at the Arkuhna. Gods he so slow! Why did he have to come? her thought diminished as the Hydroluhna turned around and started walking toward the Cathedral.

Catahecassa brushed his sister's anger aside, he never payed any mind to her. The Arkuhna didn't know what the meeting was about himself. He was intrigue that Caine would call the meeting in Grand Cathedral. They both walked into the entrance of the Catheral. Catahecassa saw that the vampires where already gathering, he wasn't surprised. The Arkuhna was already bored, he didn't walk any further. He leaned on the closes stone wall, watching as his sister walked to the center. How many more would be joining them? he wasn't sure and really didn't care, Caatahecassa wanted this meeting to be over soon.

In the breaking of twilight's cloak came two dark figures from within the forest's ridge, as they two approached the the looming cathedral which towered ominously over the land the smaller figure shivered. "What is it?" The larger figure questioned in a whispered voice. Its footsteps were silent as ever as the they passed through the field, making good time towards the cathedral. In the birth of the moonlight one would have gotten a better view of the two figures, one being a petite looking female lucain, her dark coat rippling with each silent step; the other a rough looking black and orange kuhna at her heels, his dark eyes glowing with concern.

The Kuhna looked up at his leader as they came into the sight of the stairway from the old building, his eyes sparkling. "I'm just worried, maybe this is a bad idea Luc. I mean...well...what if they...you...umm..." He stammered at the lucain, falling a step behind her. "What if someone sees us, and knows who you are?"He finally finished, only to be smacked across the side of the head by one of her tails, which quieted him quickly. Some days he wondered if listening to her was such a good idea, but he said nothing more instead padded after the lucain. "I'm sorry Luc, it's just your reputation isn't the best considering who's hosting this." He whispered, having caught up with her at the entry door to the cathedral.

Lucina took her companions words into account, though with little more regard than if he was telling her the weather. This vampire was far more focused on seeing what all was going on. Since her friend had returned with word of some strange gathering of vampires, Lucina had found herself with a nagging feeling that she just had to see what was happening. Turning her head half way so that her friend came into her peripheral view, "Spade, Calm yourself. No one will question why we're here, they invited many vampires from all over. Besides, I doubt those rumors have come this far." She responded poking her into the door way. From her point she couldn't see much, just the darkness with ruble blocking her view. Shaking her head, Lucina pulled back and quickly padded around the side of the slumbering beast of a building.
Where she took a moment and composed herself, before the dark aura shimmered around her; within second there stood a pale young woman, dressed in a flowing black skirt and tight red buckle corset. She adjusted the straps on her bright red boots, making sure that the black crosses were straight in the front. Long silky raven feather hair flowed down her shoulders, framing her ivory face from which steely silver eyes looked out over the lands around her. Her gaze wandered down to her companion, "Keep like that. You'll be more useful." Her voice coming across now like spider silk, cool, dark ,and belyingly sweet. A slow sweet but feral smile creeping across her lips.

Lochesh swallowed dryly but smiled back, 'Someday she's gonna get me killed' he thought silently as he followed along behind her. In her hume form, he had to admit she was a stunning sight, though a slightly frightful one to him as well. He knew the drill as the two of them made their way into the cathedral where Lucina immediately sunk into the shadows of the ruins to wait and watch what would happen.Arms crossed over her chest while she leaned her back against the cool stone wall, her eyes shaded by her dark bangs, right boot crossed over standing left so that her legs made a closed four. Spade on the other hand shook out his dark body, hoping to shake his fears as well and put up his lazy smile in place and padded his way further into the dark ruins. His eyes catching on the pair that had entered ahead of them, he mused over the two for a few moments before finding himself a place to rest, perching himself on one of the fallen stone closer to inner pillar and sitting back on his hind legs to wait. He could feel her icy gaze on his back every now and again as she continually scanned the room studying its occupants from her place as they would arrive, while he sat out in the thick of the clustering vampires.

Bottles smashed, I raised my hand
How can you all even stand?
And why is there joy in this poison? Oh
Faking smiles and confidence
Driving miles to capture this excitement
I can't take anymore

You're never gonna get it
I'm a hazard to myself
I'll break it to you easy
This is hell, this is hell
You're looking and whispering
You think I'm someone else
This is hell, yes
I am in hell

She watched each one of them enter the cathedral, watching each movement they made that would give them away. Seeing which ones were the weakest, which were the most relaxed, which were the most distracted. This Caine guy better be telling the truth. A room full of vampires would never be the safest place to be, especially when you were considered the enemy. Vesira barely even knew why she was there. Curiosity? An urge to be around her own kind? Hardly. She couldn't care less. She could be leading her next meal through the back alleyways of the slums but instead she was in a room full of those she had no need for. Maybe one of them would bring a toy for her to play with. She was feeling a bit thirsty. Vesira fingered on of her fangs thoughtfully and a cruel smile crept over her blood-red lips as she felt the familiar soreness in her gums.

She sat on the shadows, out of sight from most of the occupants in the room. She'd slipped in early, wanting to get to know everyone a little first instead of just walking into a room full of strangers. She'd already picked out the strongest, the one who'd planned this whole shindig. Being related to him couldn't be too bad. The rest of them seemed pretty dark and mysterious, except for that big one with the goofy grin. Except for the one they didn't look very social. With a little a little encouragement maybe they'd start talking, she hoped. Silence really wasn't her thing except when needed. She ran a finger over the serrated edge of a fang, careful not to break the skin. Vesira hoped it wasn't a stupid formal party, she couldn't stand those. Family reunion or not,s he wanted to have some fun.

She had things to do; things that were not this. That were much, much more important than this. And yet she was, bored, unhappy and dragged along by the blades to this meeting, called by a lunatic. A madman, according to Uncle Cabriel - and Morpheus believed his words above those of anyone else. Mother had sent her out to him for a reason, after all. She, the Lucain noted bitterly, was not vampire. There was no reason for her to be at this gathering, other than the fact that she was Caine's daughter. And that she admitted with prejudice. "Are you absolutely sure that Mother won't be here?"
Image Image

Locked blade-to-blade with the crimson 'Cain, Embres stalked forward stiff-legged. It was a struggle walking this way, and Morpheus was making it no easier. "Yes, I'm certain that she's not coming." She heard Morpheus growl, just as she had the last three times she had asked her sister this question. "Mother is away, and I'm not sure where. She wanted me to stop protecting her." Embres heard her sister snort, and pulled her along a little harder for the injustice. It was hard being away from Lysandroth, that was true. Who knew what the wild woman was getting herself into while she was away.

Image

Nas'minei came at a slower pace, stalking over broken rock and craggy cliffs. He came easily, like he owned the clearing and all meeting here - while he certainly did not, the confidence he oozed gave this reality the lie. This was a gathering of vampires, his kin. A meeting called by dear old daddy, of all creatures. And Nas felt real good about the whole thing. He knew vampires. He liked them; they were his people. And against all odds, the bloodthirsty youth was tickled red at the thought of meeting more.

Image

Spy for me, sweet daughter... Alica stayed where she was, perched lightly on a standing wall. Tell me who summons these vampires. Tell me what goes on. She nodded, listening so intently to the memory of her poppa's words that it was as if he was sitting beside her. Be my eyes, Hail Alica. I am trusting you. The Nightwalker girl literally trembled with conviction, mewing under her breath to the memories of the Elder Kuhna. She opened teal eyes, which spiraled and sharpened as she focused on the meeting of bloodsuckers near and far. Ends' Haven was trusting her, and there was no way on earth that she would let him down.

It had been quite enough time. The eldest of those there gave a small frown... Not all of his children were here. Nor was his mate. They had been the first to have been informed... No matter. Their reprimands would come later. "Do not lurk in the shadows, my children!" He called out as he shifted, letting his Lucain form melt away as he came to stand at a crumbling podium, sharp eyes looking around as he brushed back crimson-tipped black hair from his face. "Even those who do not know me... I wish to speak to you now. Come, closer." His voice softened as he looked around.

The largest of them laughed, tongue lolling as he kept his guise, sitting just off to the side of his father. Brujah knew his father well... While they were not the closest, he had been raised by him, had seen his soft and his hard sides.
Malkov too assumed a human form. It was obvious that he looked much like his father, however his features were pale... No smile formed on his face as he sat next to Brujah, patting his ears lightly as he watched them gather. Brothers and sisters.... Maybe those who held no claim to his father's lineage. While Caine may have been the first, Malkov knew that there had been others created not from his blood. A hint of a smile ghosted at his lips as he saw his sister approaching - Embres, like Brujah, felt none of the vampiric blood running through their veins... They were the most sane of his siblings.

Ah, there he was... Lasombra slipped from her shadowy guise, meeting Nas'minei as he stalked forward. He seemed as if he owned his place.... And that was his right. Caine's favorite son... Lasombra grinned as she embraced her brother, cheek-to-cheek with him as she murmered into his ear. "Mine... What took you so long?"

The pale son merely sat among the scattered and oft broken pews, staying as far away from his siblings as he could. A stern look from his father's icy eyes... He shuddered as he slowly moved towards where Malkov sat, at least trying to be away from Nas. He was his least favorite brother.

A soft grin came to Tremere's face as he watched everyone come in. There was fun to be had here... Plenty of females to be seen, though he knew he could never lay a hand on Caine's closest daughters... Another of his own lineage may be just as fine...

As Dash took his first step into the dark Cathedral, he was surprised to see so many Lucains.  He was expecting a couple other species, but it seemed to be he was the only Kuhna, except for an orangish one that was standing in the shadow of yet another Lucain, and two more standing near the entrance.  He felt kind of out of place; he knew no one there, and most of them seemed somewhat gloomy and unsocial.  The seemingly oldest one stepped up in human form to say something.  When the words came out, Dash shivered.  My children.  He called him his child.  That can't be right, he thought.  I don't even know my parents, and I certanly couldn't be related to him... could I?  Noticing that he had not yet been seen, Dash crouched low and slipped along the closest wall.  Despite what the man had said, he wanted to stay out of the spotlight, not really trusting some of the faces around him.

Children? I can't be related to him! Can I? Cocheta was clueless, she didn't know what this Caine guy was thinking. He must of hit his head on something. Can he not see that I'm Kuhna? Her thoughts where bouncing around in her head. She turned her head to see where her younger brother was. Cocheta could see that he was leaning on one the walls. Turning around she ran towards him, she stopped in front of him. Clearing her throat "Why does he call us his children, Catahecassa?" whispering to him.

Chatahecassa slowly looked up at his sister. "We're related to him somehow. It may not be by blood." shrugging his shoulders. The Arkuhna could care less about this meeting and everyone here. As he looked around he could see there where more Lucians and only a hand full of Kuhnas. "Just relax" Brushing his green bangs from his face. "I believe Caine will explain everything in do time." Chatahecassa kicked couple of pebbles in front of him.

An eerie deep smirk suddenly played across the dark female's lips as she heard Caine's voice in the room, "Children, huh." she thought darkly. This would prove to be more interesting than she'd thought as she finished sizing up the room. She took that moment to swagger forward from her dark alcove, hips gently swaying her pitch night skirt from side to side. Her senses swelled with the awareness of all the others around her sending a sharp chill down her spine, but her sweetly dark smile never twitched from place. Approaching Spade's side she merely sat on the edge of the fallen stone, well within sight of Caine and all others in the room cooling sliding herself into a sitting position on the fallen stone on which her companion also sat. Lengthy toned fishnet clad legs exposed to mid-thigh from the dark silky confines of her skirt, blood red boots again crossing, now at the ankles right over left. Lucina leaned back on her right arm close to Spade and whispered in his ear, "Interesting, let's see what comes of this shall we?" Her voice still sweet and dark as she spoke the words.

Spade on the other hand visibly shivered when Lucina sat beside him, catching the twinkle in her eyes. He never could tell what she was planning or up to, but it rarely ever ended him in a good spot. Forcing his smile back into place, he gave her words a small shrug all to aware himself of the acute hearing of most of the occupants of the room. The kuhna kept himself calm as he could, fangs extended but a friendly lazy smile on his face. Unlike L, Spade's confidence was badly shaken when he saw how many other vampire had assembled at this family reunion. The thought occurred to him that they could be in hot water for being in such a place to begin with. "L, maybe we, I mean you, should have stayed out of sight for a while longer?" He whispered to her. Here he could feel the pulls of so many emotions that flowed in the old building, lapping at his mind like water against rock. Confusion, fear, longing, disinterest, excitement, all of this flooded him. His heart began to beat again, slowly as it did when his empathy took hold, his gold eyes clouding over for a few seconds as he drank in the feelings. "L, there's a lot of tension here, its volatile almost." He blinked, eyes catching on the final arrivals so far. He saw Lucina do the same from the corner of her eye, but as usual she left it up to him to know who all was where. He gave her a sideways glare and a very feeble snort at her calm seeming lack of awareness manor she was projecting.

Vesira really didn't like being called his child, anyone's child for that matter. She didn't have any family, and if she did she didn't care for them. A brother could be one of her victims for all it mattered. Only if he was human. She wouldn't mess with another vamp in the Slums. Her tricks wouldn't work there with them. Vamps always had a clearer head than humans, even when they'd been drinking. They knew there were others of their kind around and to be careful as well as look relaxed. Vesira was tense, all senses at the maximum, searching for any disturbances, anything suspicious.

Everything seemed pretty calm for the moment so she stepped out of the shadows and made her presence known, her smile from earlier gone. She'd dressed a little classier for this little get together since her usual clothes could scare away the male game. A red spaghetti-strap party dress with black lacing that stopped at her knees, tattered but elegant. Her legs were bare, she didn't mind the cold a bit, except for her favorite snakeskin stiletto boots which were all black. She never got a chance to wear them at home because they offended Heaz, her boa. Being only an arm's length she could take the snake almost anywhere in a bag but she'd decided to leave him at home encase a fight broke out. He was fine at home. He could easily escape his terrarium and he knew where she kept the mice and there were plenty of rodents in the garbage outside.

Vesira went over the other occupants in the room once more, making sure none had suddenly disappeared and those that were new had only come through the front entrance. She twirled a lock of her dark gray and purple streaked hair around her fingers. it fell in light waves down her back and over her shoulders, only a few inches from her waist. Her black pointed nails parted the hair every now and then in habit. It was a nervous habit, but she made it look relaxed.

My children. Embres shook her head, untangling herself from her reluctant sibling as she rose to human form. Long blonde hair flicked from her shoulders as sharp eyes, blue as all her family, locked onto Caine and slid away. It had been a while since she had stood in the same room as her father. And all of these, his children, Embres thought. He didn't mean biologically. He meant, vampire. Hoping to see just how many of his descendants by Blood were scattered around the Lands. She got to be direct, related to the other vampire by both kinds of blood. Yay.

At a glance, the firstborn daughter moved closer to her brothers, sitting gingerly next to Malkov and nodding to Brujah. She wasn't dressed for royalty on any sort of fanfare; baggy jeans were durable for stumbling over ruins, and the tight striped tee was purely for glamour. Like her mother, she wore no shoes. "Greetings, Mal. Long time, no see." Her voice was weary and wary. She was... pretty sure that her littermate wasn't one of the mad ones. And even if he was, big green Brujah was just as big a softie.

No sooner had she stopped than Morpheus wrenched herself free of her older sister's blades, low growls telling exactly what she thought about being dragged here that way. The darker female changed with Embres, pulling hair identical to her father's over her face. She felt naked in only lace shirt and palisade pants; everything but her arms was hidden behind dark violet. And still, she missed her cloak.

But regardless of her qualms, she was here now. Morpheus gazed around the clearing with glowing eyes, just a little brighter than Embres' icy blues. She saw faces around the ruins, other vampires summoned by her father - how pompous could he be? These were not all of the vampires in Evelon, not by a long shot, but they were still more than she expected to see. Curling her lip with exasperation, Morpheus moved toward a stone not far from another pair: an orange Kuhna and what appeared to be his Lucain companion. She nodded to them both before sitting, and stretching out to hear just what dear old dad wanted to say.

Nas sat right where he was, toward the edge of the congregation, as the shadowy figure moved out to greet him. A grin touched his muzzle, which split quickly into a laughing smile and lolling tongue. He pushed a dark nose into his sister's cheek. Caine's favorite son, that's right. "Sorry, Las. I grabbed a bite to eat~" Nas crooned, his tenor coming out in singsong before breaking into a laugh. Lasombra knew how he liked to play with his food. The longer it took to die, the more fun there was in the hunt.

Children! Alica made a low mew of surprise. She wasn't that big one's child - Ends'Haven was her poppa! Her claws scrabbled across the Cathedral's stones as took his advice anyway, creeping out of the surrounding shadows. Purple flames blazed around her paws and tail-tips as she bounded closer, sitting a ways apart from the big Lucain and what she assumed to be his family. Her eyes were wide, staring at him - she had to take in details, all the details, to take back to her real father.

With a much gentler gaze than was to be expected, Caine smiled. Truly, smiled. These were all his children... And he would show them. They would know what they could do... Maybe not all inherited his powers, not all of them at least, but he could show how to use the ones they had. The Kuhnas still caught his gaze - still his children... He would embrace them just as fondly as any other of his children.
"Come, my young ones... I hear your dissent... You may not have been directly sired by me, but you are my children... Do you know not the legend? Of your creation, are the creatures of the night?" His gaze wandered the small crowd, wondering just how far they had strain from the path he had wanted for them.

Looking to his sister, Malkov nodded with a soft smile. "Embres... It has been a long time, hasn't it?" He wasn't... Mad... So to speak.... But right now he seemed quite... Off. "You've missed much... I had a mate..."
Brujah tilted his head at Malkov, gently hugging his big brother to him. "Hi Embres... Malkov doesn't feel good 'cause Dejar's been missing..."

Lasombra couldn't help her giggles as she nosed her brother, playfully licking his cheek. "Should have told me, I could have joined you." Hands threading through his hair she pulled him into a rather intimate embrace before pulling him over towards where Caine stood - he would want his favorite son to be close to him.

"Legend...?"  Dash whispered to himself.  Trying to think back, he racked his mind, but nothing came up.  Some other Lucian started talking to each other, so the akward scilence kind of evaporated.  Still pressed against the back wall, he morphed into his human/vampire form, with pale skin, a purple T-shirt, and jeans.  Leaning back against the cold stone wall,  he brushed dust out of his pure white hair that probably had attached to his fur in Creature form.  Hopefully this head Lucain would say some more.  While (trying to) relaxing, he took a closer look at some of the people there.  His purple eyes darted from kuhna to Lucain to the few in Human form.  Most of them looked pretty shady, but that could probably just be because... well, they are vampires.  "Just sit back and see what happens..." he muttered to himself.

I think back to the time when my search first began,
I left behind those shores of sand
For the endless everlasting world out there.

I know that with this burning passion driving me
Someday, somewhere I'll finally see
The light I have searched for everywhere!

Her heart started racing, it felt like it was going to rip out of her chest. Cocheta looked around the room with wide eyes. Turning back to face her brother, she could see that he was pushing himself off the cold cobble stone wall. "Do not panic Cocheta, all will be fine." The Hydrokuhna heard what her brother said, it don't fully sink in. Cocheta felt the weight of Chatahecassa's hand on her left shoulder. She couldn't understand what the head vampire was saying. Cocheta and her brother didn't know much of the vampire legends, they always avoided their kind every chance they got.

The Arkuhna could hear his sister's fast heart beat and the blood flowing through her veins. Removing his hands from Cocheta's shoulder, he stared at the center of the Cathedral. "It would be interesting to hear about the legend of our people. Don't you think Cocheta?" He gave his sister a crooked smile. He didn't know much about his kind and didn't care to know. Caine got him interested about the legend. There might be some information that Cocheta and I could use later on down the line. Chatahecassa grabbed his sister's hand and pulled her behind him.

Sorry guys for the late reply.
