In the breaking of twilight's cloak came two dark figures from within the forest's ridge, as they two approached the the looming cathedral which towered ominously over the land the smaller figure shivered.
"What is it?" The larger figure questioned in a whispered voice. Its footsteps were silent as ever as the they passed through the field, making good time towards the cathedral. In the birth of the moonlight one would have gotten a better view of the two figures, one being a petite looking female lucain, her dark coat rippling with each silent step; the other a rough looking black and orange kuhna at her heels, his dark eyes glowing with concern.
The Kuhna looked up at his leader as they came into the sight of the stairway from the old building, his eyes sparkling.
"I'm just worried, maybe this is a bad idea Luc. I mean...well...what if they...you...umm..." He stammered at the lucain, falling a step behind her.
"What if someone sees us, and knows who you are?"He finally finished, only to be smacked across the side of the head by one of her tails, which quieted him quickly. Some days he wondered if listening to her was such a good idea, but he said nothing more instead padded after the lucain.
"I'm sorry Luc, it's just your reputation isn't the best considering who's hosting this." He whispered, having caught up with her at the entry door to the cathedral.
Lucina took her companions words into account, though with little more regard than if he was telling her the weather. This vampire was far more focused on seeing what all was going on. Since her friend had returned with word of some strange gathering of vampires, Lucina had found herself with a nagging feeling that she just had to see what was happening. Turning her head half way so that her friend came into her peripheral view,
"Spade, Calm yourself. No one will question why we're here, they invited many vampires from all over. Besides, I doubt those rumors have come this far." She responded poking her into the door way. From her point she couldn't see much, just the darkness with ruble blocking her view. Shaking her head, Lucina pulled back and quickly padded around the side of the slumbering beast of a building.
Where she took a moment and composed herself, before the dark aura shimmered around her; within second there stood a pale young woman, dressed in a flowing black skirt and tight red buckle corset. She adjusted the straps on her bright red boots, making sure that the black crosses were straight in the front. Long silky raven feather hair flowed down her shoulders, framing her ivory face from which steely silver eyes looked out over the lands around her. Her gaze wandered down to her companion,
"Keep like that. You'll be more useful." Her voice coming across now like spider silk, cool, dark ,and belyingly sweet. A slow sweet but feral smile creeping across her lips.
Lochesh swallowed dryly but smiled back,
'Someday she's gonna get me killed' he thought silently as he followed along behind her. In her hume form, he had to admit she was a stunning sight, though a slightly frightful one to him as well. He knew the drill as the two of them made their way into the cathedral where Lucina immediately sunk into the shadows of the ruins to wait and watch what would happen.Arms crossed over her chest while she leaned her back against the cool stone wall, her eyes shaded by her dark bangs, right boot crossed over standing left so that her legs made a closed four. Spade on the other hand shook out his dark body, hoping to shake his fears as well and put up his lazy smile in place and padded his way further into the dark ruins. His eyes catching on the pair that had entered ahead of them, he mused over the two for a few moments before finding himself a place to rest, perching himself on one of the fallen stone closer to inner pillar and sitting back on his hind legs to wait. He could feel her icy gaze on his back every now and again as she continually scanned the room studying its occupants from her place as they would arrive, while he sat out in the thick of the clustering vampires.
