(( So just to catch everyone up to speed—Dis and I discovered that I have had lots of characters very similar to the MLP cast here for years. Similar personalities, similar colors, the whole shebang. Two of the most prominent being Devi (Rarity) and Roux (a male version of Fluttershy) So at Dis’s urging…here is the Evelon-ified spa day scene from the show. xD With my own plot related twist. ))
The waiting room was dark and warm—modeled off one of the most basic and primitive levels of comfort a person could feel. Softly chiming music floated through the lilac-scented air. The hanging ceiling light glimmered with candlelit that cast mesmerizing shadows over the dark blue walls. Plants of all sorts dotted these same walls—all tall and exotic in appearances.
Roux, Human Form
Roux sat on one of the small love seats within this very same waiting room, trying not to look uncomfortable as he flipped absently through the pages of a health and fitness magazine. His orange hair was falling softly into his eyes; his attire while simple was not lazy. A printed tee and some light khaki pants as well as a sensible pair of flip flops. It would all be easy to change out of and even easier to change back into—and that was the most important part. Oh, he hoped Devi would hurry up. He always hated being the only one in the waiting room…especially being the only guy. Sure this was a weekly outing to the same location for the same treatments…but it still felt so awkward to be here alone…
The doorknob jiggled for only a moment before bursting open to allow a very elegantly dressed woman inside. She was looking slightly out of breath; a large clutch bag in her hands as if her very life might depend on the content. Her lavender hair was tied up in loose and luscious curls against her one shouldered dress and heels. Roux didn’t seem to be curious as to her attire—it was just the usual for Devi. He was, however, curious about that clutch.
Devi, Human Form
“Oh I am so sorry I’m late! But I’m so glad you’re still here; you know I’d never miss one of our bonding trips to the spa.”
Roux only offered her a half smile and a nod. She could be a bit much, but Devi was oddly enough his best friend. She was the only one at the house who didn’t seem to be down on him all the time at least.
“It’s fine Devi….what’s in the bag?”
